QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Nov 28, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) Damn. Vick nearly had his first INT of the season (amazing to even type that at this point of the season) and he makes the Bears pay. Finally Bears make him pay. And Earl Bennett is insanely underrated.

Falcons are legit. Wouldn't surprise me if they made it to the Super Bowl.

Rose is out tonight versus the Nuggets with a stiff neck. Decent chance he'll be out tomorrow night versus the Kings too. Ouch.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 26, 2010 -> 01:53 AM) His positioning is definitely the main problem, his size really isn't that much of a factor at all, he's 6'3" while being very strong and athletic, definitely not too small for a pg. This. He doesn't have to be 6'6 to guard people. He has excellent size for the PG position and his athleticism is tremendous. He just needs to make better reads off of passes at the key/take better gambles on/off the ball (or on one on one penatration) and to work on his feet/positioning as Row illuded to. He doesn't have freakish arms to reach around for steals or tip passes at the key on plays (Rondo, Wall) but he can always improve on reading plays and foot work.

Rockies Interested in Floyd?
As much as I love Dexter Fowler, Gavin is much more beneficial for us, especially with Peavy's uncertainity. IIRC, Stewart can play 3b, 2b, 1b, LF, and RF. How well... I don't remember from minor league reports, though I know he was a butcher at 2B. (which the sox don't need him there anyways)

Good trade for the Raptors as well. I've always been very fond of Bayless and he will actually get imore playing time now.

Catch All Anything Thread
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 17, 2010 -> 02:33 PM) I will just say that with about the preceding 3-4 stories or so, I have no problem with them being pulled over. Some may view it as an immoral thing for a cop to pull someone over with no reason, but if they have any belief that the person may be drunk, then they have every right to do so and I think they should, because they are actually keeping the streets safe at that point. Drunk driving is one of the stupidest things a person can do and I have only driven semi-drunk once in the past 3 years, and it was a minor emergency when I did it - my girlfriend and I were down at the bars, a cop came and told the people leaving the bars that a storm with high winds capable of producing tornados was coming in. I'd had like 7 drinks in 3 hours, so I wasn't smashed, but probably wasn't legal to drive, but I wasn't concerned with getting a DUI at that point but instead getting to safety. God it feels like I don't even know you anymore.

Arizona Fall League
QUOTE (danman31 @ Nov 17, 2010 -> 02:20 PM) He had 22 in 57.1 IP this year. Definitely not as bad as you mentioned. He has 15 K to 0 BB in 9 AFL IP. Control has never been a red flag for him. I like Carter. His velocity starting touching the upper 90s in the bullpen. I think he could be a solid guy for us in a year or two. Sox like his arm as much as Infantes. We'll probably get a taste of him next season.

QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 03:33 AM) AL Gold Glove Voting For the Next Zillion Years - SS 1. Derek Jeter 989456 points 2. Charles Barkley 87 points 3. BA put on waivers...
Shame really. Had more overall raw talent than his college teammate Kinsler, and many thought BA would be the one who who not only make it, but have a solid career. Shows that not always the more talented player figures it out.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Nov 7, 2010 -> 07:20 PM) 1st good thing John Scott has done all year. Pretty much. Though I did find it funny watching him break 3 sticks (1 from a slash) on his first three shifts on the ice. I love Stalberg BTW. One of my new personal favorite players.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 6, 2010 -> 11:44 AM) Rose has been closer to Ben Gordon than an all-star this year. One of the worst quotes in this thread. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 6, 2010 -> 12:36 PM) if you go by "PER", Rose is quite a bit ahead of gordon and is right behind one "Lebron James" so far this season. He absolutely needs to work on his defense. There's no question. But let's not go overboard here. Which is why at times PER is a flawed stat that should not be the end all be all. Turnovers is actually killing his PER this year. Pretty ironic considering Rose has taken the next step in his stats this year, not to mention has had better court vision and awareness in that ideal third year in the league. I haven't caught as many games this year as I would like thanks to work, but the couple I havw watched I can't wait to see what this Rose can do with Booz in the line-up.

I might have to ask people to predict the game where Rajon Rondo actually gets less than 10 assists. Hell he hasn't even gotten less than 15 yet in a game early on.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 30, 2010 -> 09:40 PM) John Wall=Legit I'll bump this quote for truth. He's going to be ridiculously good in a couple years. Struggling with TO's (which is usual for a rookie and a pass first PG) but man.. Nearly had a triple double with 20 points 13 assists and 9 steals. I didn't think his scoring touch would improve this quickly, but it has.
