I don't like this Japanese guy. I remember seeing an article where he said that the Sox offer was too low and that he was looking for bigger money. I don't want Cora. I don't know how else I could state this. I mean he'd cost like 2 million for a slower but just as inconsistant second basemen as the one we have now for 500,000. No thanks.

Under any normal circumstances i'd agree with you. However I firmly believe that no matter what Mariotti goes out of his way to take shots at the sox. They could go 162-0, sweep the playoffs, and then sweep the world series and he would have something negative to say about it. No one likes total yes men or homers but Mariotti is just the other extreme.

I thank the lord everyday it wasn't us who signed this jackass. This is the one guy that made our 5th starter wheel look like Cy Young.

I can't imagine anyone taking Grilli on waviers. I mean he's just not that good. Then again I wouldn't be heartbroken if someone did take him. At least it would mean their was no chance of him coming back to the rotation.

The bulls killed themselves giving up the ball. I swear this is the most frustrating game i've ever seen. It's hard to imagine how this team ever won 5 straight.

I doubt Garcia feels that way at all. At the time their was as big a buzz around him as their was about RJ right now. He's not stupid and I believe he knew he could of gotten much more on the open market then he got here at the time. I think he chose to play here because of Ozzie and the fact that maybe he was actually happy here.

I was shocked when I turned on the Dolphins game and saw this. One of the rare people who ever though he was a superstar and a multi millionaire he was still a great guy. Wish there were more guys like him in every sport. You will be missed...

IMO it would be stupid to put Grilli in the pen... Not only have both Adkins and Cotts already had a full year in the pen but Diaz has already proven himself alot more in the pen (and for that matter as a starter on this team). Diaz should be given every chance before Grilli.

I don't think it really matters what they offered him. I still like the deal.
