As my high school US History teacher said...you can't truly judge a president for a good generation or two, if only because the programs put in don't truly take effect until it has been around for awhile. There are always immediate repercussions, but the long term effects are what a president should be judged on... That being said, the great thing about this country is that there is freedom of the press...left, right, center...doesn't matter. Oh yeah, and I do think he's the worst president ever.

Gonna show my age here, but I always like Jimmy Connors. Then it was Michael Chang. He was always a tough out. And he could run and run and run and run and never seem to get tired. I've kinda lost touch the last few years, but Agassi is my last men's fav. As for women...Chrissy Evert was A-1, then nothing for a long time. Now, I just like women's tennis overall. No particular fave, just the quality is sooo much better.

Griese has beaten out Brad Johnson, Jay Fiedler and Chris Simms, and I also think Gus Frerrote. Now i know they aren't Elway, Marino and Montana, but be prepared for a good ol' fashioned quarterback battle this summer. which is good for Rexy, Kyle AND Brian. Look for Griese to come out on top, though. Just a hunch.

I think Chicago teams have cornered the market on players like AJ. Players you hate on one team but love on yours, in no particular order: AJ Dennis Rodman Albert Belle Bob Probert Bryan Cox John Starks (briefly) John Salley etc.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Edwardo's. It's not the best, but their spinach deep dish is awesome. Texas pizza sux ass as well. But there are two decent places in town...Rounder's for thin crust and garlic knots (*drooling*) and Mangia. The owner's of Mangia went to Chicago and developed their pizza based on the Chicago deep dish model. It's pretty damn good.

They have some issues, but I'm going to pick Texas. 'Nova's too small. UConn's got too many streaky players. Duke has speed issues (plus, some smart coach will put a Brian Randle-like guy on Redick and that'll be the end of that) Memphis is too young. This is going to be a fun year...no clear cut overwhelming teams. The Big Ten usually shows well in the tourney. They'll lose a couple of teams, but I could see one of the teams making it to the Final Four. They are coming from arguably the best conference where really only one team is a pushover (Purdue), and they really aren't that much of a pushover. I can't wait. And neither can Vegas...they are going to make A LOT of money off of the losers this year.

Thin = Pat's Pizza on Sheffield just south of Belmont Deep Dish = Uno's, Lou Malnati's and Pequods. I don't know if anyone's been there, but the tomato and pepperoni is mouth-watering.
