  1. This isn't a good problem. Colon is still a liability.
  2. QUOTE (bobryansson @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 02:43 AM) .208 since he came back. Which is 15 points better than Wise.

  4. Wade LOVES being home fathom. I'm not sure what has lead you to believe otherwise.
  5. Let's get a big crowd tonight.
  6. I want to see the band (Thome and Dye) back together for another year. We also have to keep Pods. Yeah, we will be old and slow for at least another year, but that's how it's always been. We need to address Beckham first and foremost. Do we want him being our cornerstone third-baseman or middle infielder? Lexi needs to pick a position too. Orlando Hudson will be out there if we need the help.
  7. I didn't watch yesterday's game but it seems you're overreacting to Linebrink. In his last 8 appearances, he's given up 3 runs in 8.1 innings pitched, 2 of those coming in a 12-8 win and the other of course last night.
  8. I am still using your sig.
  9. 1. 2005 ALDS Game 1 versus Red Sox 2. 2005 World Series Game 1 3. 2005 ALCS Game 2 4. 2007 MB's no-hitter 5. 2004 All-Star game Also saw the home-run derby, 2008 ALDS Game 3, 2000 ALDS Game 1(ugh), and Jose Valentin hit for the cycle. Other favorites include Ray Durham walk-off versus the Cubs, Carlos Lee's walk-off Grand Slam versus the Cubs, JD's walk-off against the Angels, and Pierzynski fight versus the Cubs. It may sound like I go to a million games per season, but I have been extremely lucky with the games I attend. For some reason whenever I go something miraculous tends to happen...like when I attended my only game this year and we lost 20-1. I had tickets to go today but had to skip for summer school. Ugh.
  10. QUOTE (danman31 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 10:16 PM) Koufax faced the minimum in another one of his no-hitters (one walk, got a caught stealing). Of the 4 other guys to have a perfect game and another no-hitter, I can't find box scores for Young and Joss, but Johnson and Bunning didn't face the minimum in their other no-hitters. Even more rarified air for Buehrle. Buehrle faced the minimum I believe in 2004. He actually gave up 2 hits in that game.
  11. QUOTE (danman31 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 09:50 PM) And he picked Sosa off, I think he might be the only guy to face the minimum twice in big league history. I'm trying to research/find this. He has faced the minimum 3 times I believe. Actually it is at least 3, if not 4.
  12. QUOTE (WSoxMatt @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 09:47 PM) The strike zone was consistant, never changed no mater the situation, thats a great ump Yeah. Sanchez earlier this year got some gift calls in his. Mark...not to much.
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 09:43 PM) Eric Cooper was the home plate umpire for both of Buehlre's No-Hitters. He did no favors for MB today...
  14. 6th guy ever to have a no-hitter and a perfect game. The first 5 are/will be Hall of Famers.
  15. Here is his appreciation thread. Catch of the fricken' year.
  16. For those out of towners. are ESPN/MLBN showing it? If not, that's pathetic.
  17. Bring the band back (Thome and Dye) for at least another year.
  18. the one and only cheeses h rice
