  1. And I'm off, See you guys at the park
  2. In 45 minutes I head to the train to take me back to chicago.
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 11:15 PM) #35 Wait a sec, will his throw make it to the plate?
  4. Didn't we have the best record in baseball in day games this year?? Also, Wednesday's game is at 6.
  5. Christmas has nothing on tomorrow.
  6. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 09:28 PM) Because Garcia is starting game 3?
  7. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) I wish I could but I'd get fired probably I dont see a problem.
  8. QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 08:19 PM) I wonder how many Yankmee fans will find us next week . . The yankees are playing golf come next week.
  9. Dustin lost his job due to injury not because he pitched his way out of it. Dustin has pitched the best lately when he has been fresh which makes a lot of sense cause of his back so for me I kinda run a closer by committee with Bobby pitching the 9th and Dustin when he's ready to go.
  10. I'm playing hookie for the next 3 days, I'm a bigger badass then snb and that's saying something.
  11. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 07:08 PM) Just want to say welcome aboard Hope you have fun at the game tomorrow Can't help you on the game time, I think they usually open 1:30 hours before gametime but I'm sure someone who knows will stop by and give you a more definate answer. For opening day and the cubs series and all the big series they opened 2 hours early but they might even open earlier for this. I got a 3 o'clock in the morning train out of here in the morning and I'll be there, I.CAN.NOT.WAIT.
  12. After reading sonsofsamhorn it seems that the last few weeks it's been all Manny and Ortiz offensively so we'll see what happens, I am very confident about this series but it's going to be a very good series.
  13. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 04:57 PM) That was on espn.com. On the Dan Patrick Show, he picked the Red Sox. What a bastard. Now he can't be wrong.
  14. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 04:53 PM) He sucked before he hit Boston? The guy is batting .310 with .370 on base percentage. I'm just saying the White Sox would find a place for him to start, not necessarily at second. At third perhaps. His defense at 3rd is horrid that's why he wouldn't start there.
  15. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 03:48 PM) Tony Kornheiser picked another yanks/bo sox alcs. I won't make a prediction on our series due to jinx purposes but I'm very confident in saying that will not be the alcs this year.
  16. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 04:41 PM) Tony G would be a starter on the White Sox, without question. Nah, and I love tony. There'd be no where to play him as his d isn't anything to talk about and he's not as good a hitter as Iguchi. I love Tony and have a great respect for him but he'd be a utility man here, no doubt about it.
  17. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 01:24 PM) I'm sure Boston was saying the same exact thing last year in the ALCS about Dave Roberts. ^
  18. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 01:20 PM) I'll just say this: If we face a situation where Willie Harris and Geoff Blum become important figures...we're f'ed. Willie without a doubt could become a key factor in this series.
  19. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 12:57 PM) And Joe Crede needs to catch foul pop-ups. Shh..lets just all forget about that.
  20. Here's why this really bothers me, Brandon is 10 times better then el duque and viz, if they're leaving him off the roster cause he pitched yesterday..well he didn't have to, we could have pitched el duque in that spot and let Brandon be ready for the postseason. Very dumb move imo.
  21. QUOTE(3E8 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 10:38 AM) Rowand does get bad jumps. Remember that awesome catch he made on Belliard yesterday? That happened because his broke backwards first. His range isn't poor and how could anybody say Pods has a plus arm? Aaron gets some of the best jumps out of any center fielder on balls that are hit into the gaps. Also, you'll see a lot of centerfielders including torrii and andruw get bad reads like that ball yesterday, sometime you just can't judge those off the bat.
  22. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 10:33 AM) The Angels didn't have to face this version of David Ortiz. And if Damaso does it's not going to be pretty.
  23. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 11:09 AM) STFU New York. ^
