    QUOTE(smalls2598 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 10:56 AM) I'm pretty sure AJ's 2nd hr also got a curtain call. Not really, the crowd was trying but aj didn't come out the 2nd time.
  2. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 01:28 AM) I hear you there man. Did you go all the way back to SIU after the game? I'm back in Champaign, driving back up tomorrow. Nah, unfortunately I can't have a car down there yet so I have to do all that by train and because of that I'm staying home until thursday night and I get back to Carbondale Friday morning at 1 and I have a 10 o'clock exam on friday(that should be fun). Where are your guys seats tomorrow??? Maybe I'll stop by.
  3. I can't wait to get back to the park, I don't want to sleep.
  4. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 12:12 AM) If the Red Sox were down 0-2 in the series, the media would still say to bet on Boston. :rolly If the Red Sox get swept they'd still be the team to bet on. Honestly, who cares though, just do our talking on the field.

    QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 11:04 PM) Good stuff Steve and looks like you guys had some solid seats (nice pictures from the game too). You guys are going back tomorrow right? Hopefully you bring the same kind of luck back to the park tomorrow snb's being a baby about school so he can't go. I, however am wearing the same exact thing that I wore today to the game for superstitious reasons(including my aj jersey) but I can't find one of my socks that I wore today.
  6. Today was so awesome, the Sox just absolutely clubbed the sawx and that place was absolutely rocking. Tomorrow would be a huge win if we can get it, hopefully we can get the ace mark and not the mark from most of the 2nd half, I can't wait to get to the park tomorrow. :headbang
  7. QUOTE(Brian @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 11:06 AM) He may like this one better. Wow, you have a lot of time on your hands.
  8. You couldn't hear a word Gene was saying once Frank started walking out of the dugout, it was absolutely awesome.

  10. And I'm off, See you guys at the park
  11. In 45 minutes I head to the train to take me back to chicago.
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 11:15 PM) #35 Wait a sec, will his throw make it to the plate?
  13. Didn't we have the best record in baseball in day games this year?? Also, Wednesday's game is at 6.
  14. Christmas has nothing on tomorrow.
  15. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 09:28 PM) Because Garcia is starting game 3?
  16. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) I wish I could but I'd get fired probably I dont see a problem.
  17. QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 08:19 PM) I wonder how many Yankmee fans will find us next week . . The yankees are playing golf come next week.
  18. Dustin lost his job due to injury not because he pitched his way out of it. Dustin has pitched the best lately when he has been fresh which makes a lot of sense cause of his back so for me I kinda run a closer by committee with Bobby pitching the 9th and Dustin when he's ready to go.
  19. I'm playing hookie for the next 3 days, I'm a bigger badass then snb and that's saying something.
  20. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 07:08 PM) Just want to say welcome aboard Hope you have fun at the game tomorrow Can't help you on the game time, I think they usually open 1:30 hours before gametime but I'm sure someone who knows will stop by and give you a more definate answer. For opening day and the cubs series and all the big series they opened 2 hours early but they might even open earlier for this. I got a 3 o'clock in the morning train out of here in the morning and I'll be there, I.CAN.NOT.WAIT.
  21. After reading sonsofsamhorn it seems that the last few weeks it's been all Manny and Ortiz offensively so we'll see what happens, I am very confident about this series but it's going to be a very good series.
  22. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 04:57 PM) That was on espn.com. On the Dan Patrick Show, he picked the Red Sox. What a bastard. Now he can't be wrong.
  23. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 04:53 PM) He sucked before he hit Boston? The guy is batting .310 with .370 on base percentage. I'm just saying the White Sox would find a place for him to start, not necessarily at second. At third perhaps. His defense at 3rd is horrid that's why he wouldn't start there.
  24. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 03:48 PM) Tony Kornheiser picked another yanks/bo sox alcs. I won't make a prediction on our series due to jinx purposes but I'm very confident in saying that will not be the alcs this year.
  25. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 04:41 PM) Tony G would be a starter on the White Sox, without question. Nah, and I love tony. There'd be no where to play him as his d isn't anything to talk about and he's not as good a hitter as Iguchi. I love Tony and have a great respect for him but he'd be a utility man here, no doubt about it.
