  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 4, 2011 -> 11:27 AM) This is my exact mindset. We've gone 88 games without back to back losses. There's no reason to start in the Eastern Conference Semis. 'Tis not true but close enough.
  2. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 3, 2011 -> 04:56 PM) He hasn't seemed to be this year. The Sox are #5 in the league right now for most wild pitches. It used to be a strength of his, now not so much. Unfortunately, like the rest of his game, his ability to block pitches in the dirt has declined quite rapidly.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 3, 2011 -> 05:21 PM) Yeah South Park went a little to high brow for my taste. I think the basic message was that all Apple does is make it so that we end up consuming everyone elses s***. But that should have been a joke, not an episode. Was actually going to ask in this thread if South Park last week was any good or not. I somehow forgot about it and have been waiting for it to show up OnDemand, no such luck yet.
  4. QUOTE (Real @ May 3, 2011 -> 02:26 PM) I have? Nice Well I clearly remember you telling us that the Bulls were outclassed in talent by the Spurs. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 3, 2011 -> 02:37 PM) This series isn't even my biggest concern. The Bulls can still win without a dominant Rose. But there's no way in hell they can get past Boston or Miami with him shooting 3s all day and not being aggressive. Indeed. This series wont be too much of a problem, with or with out Rose being 100 percent. That being said, even if Derrick is healthy, this team just needs a swift kick in the nuts. I know we've played down to our competition most of the season but it's about time for this team to wake the f*** up and start playing like they're capable of. No matter how you look at it, we've been bad so far since the playoffs started and I don't want to have to "turn the switch on" in a series against Miami/Boston.
  5. I don't buy this for one second. That being said, I really couldn't care less how people feel about him in the clubhouse at the moment, the guy is becoming an absolutely terrible baseball player, and that's what needs to change.
  6. Buehrle might be my favorite athlete of all time but he belongs no where near the Hall of Fame.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 2, 2011 -> 01:39 AM) There are about 17 other guys that had a chance to win some games for the White Sox too. Looking at a team that has lost 12 of 15 games and singling out the poor performance of one player is stupid. There are about 5 guys I'm pretty happy with thus far - Konerko, Lillibridge, Ramirez, Humber, and Santos. Poor Quentin.
  8. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 1, 2011 -> 11:25 PM) Was it my penis? Thankfully it was not.
  9. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 2, 2011 -> 12:18 AM) Needless to say, neat to see how something good is bringing together a LOT of people. On a side note, I just joined Twitter like 2 hrs ago and your dumbass picture was one of the first things I saw for some reason, scary stuff. Anywho, back on topic, Go America!
  10. QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 1, 2011 -> 10:37 PM) And as usual, us Americans getting alittle too carried away here. Ya, I couldn't disagree with this more. Anyways, this seems appropriate:
  11. QUOTE (kev211 @ May 1, 2011 -> 09:18 PM) Can't wait to see what South Park throws together in the next 48 hours. Ha indeed.
  12. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ May 1, 2011 -> 09:03 PM) Any word yet on how it happened?? I killed him.
  13. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 1, 2011 -> 08:59 PM) I never post in the Filibuster, but HOORAY!!!! What this guy said!
  14. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 1, 2011 -> 07:37 PM) Randolph is one such an underrated player. An absolute FORCE in the paint. Yes. Overall, Memphis is just a talented, well balanced overall team. I think in the end that OKC is just a little too talented and too good but the Grizzlies can play with anyone imo.
  15. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ May 1, 2011 -> 07:19 PM) lmao @ "everyone" disregarding the heat Ya, not really sure where that came from. The winner of the Miami/Boston series will be favored by all of the "experts" I can guarantee that.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ May 1, 2011 -> 06:38 PM) It seemed like Miami dominated but they only won by 9 and I don't think James Jones will have the same type of game again. I wanna say 7 games with game 2 being totally Pro Boston by refs. They never completely pulled away but they had that game in hand through out. They're just better than Boston at this point imo, that Perkins trade changed everything.
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 1, 2011 -> 04:59 PM) I still don't think we can beat them 4 times in 2 weeks. Well after reading this, I'm more confident than ever in thinking we'll beat the Heat.
  18. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 1, 2011 -> 05:43 PM) It's flawless I never got all of the defending he gets from a lot of posters. It seems that most agree that a hitting coach does basically nothing. So what would it hurt to fire any of them? At best, it can light a fire under a team that is underachieving. This has pretty much been my argument for 6 or 7 years now.
  19. Pierce is such a f***head, watching this series is just going to make me angry, there are so many douche bags on both teams.

QUOTE (Brian @ May 1, 2011 -> 04:42 PM) I never go to that theatre anymore. Go to the one in Round Lake off Rollins. A little out of the way but much nicer and never that crowded, even on opening weekends. My dad needed to go to the mall so that's why we ended up in Gurnee. First time I've been to that theatre in years but ya, insanely crowded and quite an annoying group of people to say the least

QUOTE (Brian @ May 1, 2011 -> 04:08 PM) Hope everyone that saw FAST FIVE stayed through the credits. Step brother gave me a heads up on that thankfully. On a side note, remind me to never go to the Gurnee theatre again on a Saturday night, yeesh...
  22. If the Grizz wanted to win this series, this is the game they needed to steal. This really should be a fun series. And I just hate both the Celtics and Heat with a passion, hopefully nobody wins this series.
  23. Rowand44 replied to Kyyle23's topic in SLaM
    I really enjoyed Fast Five.
  24. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 10:07 PM) You guys really think the Thunder will have that much trouble with Memphis? I just don't see it. Yeup.
  25. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 07:53 PM) Bulls in 5 Miami in 6 OKC in 7 Lakers in 6 Hmm...my predictions 100 percent to the game.
