  1. Thats why Teel was practicing at 1B.
  2. I really thought they would wait longer. When is the deadline to gain an extra year if control?
  3. Wasn't the old Michael Reese site discussed? Or was that just the bears?
  4. That's awesome that he could produce today that wasnt an HR.
  5. He'll only play there on a rotation of catcher/DH/1B when they want Quero catching. It not like he will be the full time 1B.
  6. That's why the Sox didn't really want to bring him up. His MLB outlook is worse than most of the current players, and that's saying something with this group.
  7. The quality of the team doesn't matter with a move. That is short term thinking. If a city is trying to attract a team its for long term economic investment.
  8. Don't care what the match up is, I would rather slater hit than Palacios. Even with the K.
  9. Dang, Getz needs to hit the weight room work on that speed. Just cant play second anymore.
  10. Makes sense. According to Warren it takes 3 years from shovel in the ground to complete.
  11. He'll probably get better instruction working in framing with McKinven in the MLB. I think that was part of the reason.
  12. Agreed. He had nothing left to prove at AAA.
  13. Yep. I think we'll see an all time low fir FA money this off season. For most teams.
  14. I don't see them or most teams for that matter until after thevwork stoppage and the new CBA is agreed upon.
  15. Agreed, that's all that really matters. Ill be enjoying one tomorrow.
  16. Not really. You will make more money if you use other peoples money and not your own.
  17. It rarely happens over here. Only the 4th ot 5th time in 20 years.
  18. You're in Manhattan? Me too. Did you lose power this morning? One of the transformers caught fire.
  19. As a good business man should. That's the best way to make money.
  20. That could be. Could also have been after the 2 previous outings where he handled it well, he said he would be fine again. He showed he could do it before. This time he couldn't so they decided to IL him. Injuries and pain aren't a dichotomy, injured or not, in most cases. Most pitchers have some sort of pain after a month if they're lucky. It's a constant battle of what can they deal with and still perform and what needs time off.
  21. True, but 19 still young for that league. Even if he is there next year he will be about agr appropriate.
  22. Yep, until the players start making it to the MLB, we won't know.
  23. I'm sure they are monitoring those metrics . Typically they are related to arm issues. Bit the same ideas apply. Are they changing due to fatigue? Just mechanics today? He was able to work through it the last couple of starts. This time he couldn't so he goes on the IL.
