  1. Society today. You have to vent your anger at a person.
  2. Ok, fine. I retract the statement I ever said anything about it. Amaya was only ever the real option as everyone else sucked all spring.
  3. I predicted he was going to be the starting shortstop over a month ago before any of the injuries. Even until yesterday it looked like someone else, Meidroth
  4. Eh, I'm excited just to turn the roster over and get some talented young players. I really think palette can be exciting at the end of the pen. I also like the lineup diversity a player like meidroth can bring. Something other than strikeouts.
  5. 1 or 2? Just in the lineup I see meidroth, Montgomery, Teel and quero. I guess it's more before the end of theyear not necessarily in july. I think you'll see a fair number of bullpen guys as well including coffey, Adler, palette.
  6. I think my Amaya prediction is going to come true. Yay? Not so sure.
  7. Start watching in the second half.. I think it will be correct call for the long term.
  8. Correct, and my point was there is no reason to assume this at this point.
  9. This is common in the business world. Haven't you ever heard the phrases promote them to the level of their incompetence." You promote them to get them out of the way. I'm encouraged by what I see from Getz so far. We'll see how it turns out.
  10. True, doesn't mean there will be no quality MLB players from the trades as you stated though.
  11. Yeah, didn't look comfortable. I still say the plan is to start all the retread (retreat) veterans in the first part of the year. Let all the prospects start the year in the minors then bring them up in waves as they are comfortable.
  12. Just becaisebpitchers are having a UCL reconstruction doesn't mean they aren't going to be MLB pitchers. We still have a nearly 90% rate of returning them to prior levels. If you are only looking at this year you are correct. But if you look at the totality of the career, this isn't correct.
  13. I went with B. I really like the organizational changes. Wiith the budget restrictions we know JR has they organization and development needs to be the strength. Hiring Venable and mckinvin were hires previous administration havent done. Trades have been more bad than good. Cant really judge the current team as they aren't trying to win. They are spending all the money retooling the organization which is best for them in the long run.
  14. For the pitchersrs you could say its inevitable that that most will have UCL reconstruction as it's the way of today's game. Rhey have a number if high end young pitcher thus are susceptible. Also the Sox seem to like guys that throw with odd arm angles. These will also have a higher occurrence of injury. Then you need to look at the offseaon program and the way the pitching coaches handle the pitchers. For the hitters it seems bad luck. Benintendi, rojas and Drury had weird fractures. Slater had the Oblique which not uncommon.
  15. I apologize. Cheap shot. I knownyou really don't think that JRs karma caused the injuries. You made the comment during a long discussion. I won't bring it up again.
  16. He shouldn't if it's that long.
  17. 2030 will be about the right time if this one doesn't work.
  18. It looks like they are going with retreat vets to start the season. I bet they bring up the prospects in waves after a couple of months and clear it out.
  19. I'm sure the innings were originally meant for any number of the UCL clan they now have.
  20. As someone said earlier at least it's happening in a tank year. Get them out of the way.
