White Sox vs A's 3:05 PM
it isn't a fracture. They wouldn't have let him walk without support.

Predict the Lineup
Points bet posted a +100 on the Sox to score 1+ runs on Opening Day with a limited max bet. I think I'll take it.

COVID-19/Coronavirus thread
If you don't mind the drive, the mass vaccination site in Quincy has many open slots everyday. It is very underutilized and they use the J&J.

Jimmy Cordero Has TJ Surgery
The Sox played 25 games in 27 days in September. Pitching 14 times in 27 days is abuse on his body. That does not allow adequate recovery. It is not irrelevant regardless if anyone has done it before.

Tax Questions
I'm in the exact same situation. We have a 21 and a 19 away at college. We use turbo tax and ran both sets of numbers last year and it was slightly better to claim them. Nothing really significant though. We haven't done it yet this year. You are right about none of the changes seem to ever help.

Jace Fry to DL
Have him try physical therapy especially a McKenzie certified PT. A second surgery is typically a mistake as if the first one didn't help, the disc probably wasn't the cause of the issue. Chronic pain is not a typical result of a microdiscectomy.

Student Loan Debt
This is true. However people also need to have appropriate expectations. You can go to the trade school but don't have expectations of having the lifestyle of a Manager in an insurance company. Too many people have the expectations of the have's and have nots. Different professions have different growth capacities. Doesn't mean you aren't successful, you are just in a different industry that may or may not lead the a certain lifestyle. You need to pick the trade appropriately as well. If you go to the aircraft airframe and powerplant school your lifestyle is going to be very different than if you become an electrician.

Mets GM Jared Porter fired
I thought the DUI charges were dropped.

Mets GM Jared Porter fired
Jerry would be vindicated as he lead many owners in trying to prevent Cohen from buying the team.

Musgrove to Padres
They cant spend more money. There is a pool of international signing money. They just need to change their spending strategy. Although there is a certain teenage player they did spend money on who is on an HOF trajectory.

Madrigal could be ready for opening day
Impossible. He has shown in 29 games that he is a poor defender and may take years to become merely adequate./green

Sox sign Hendriks: 3/$39M - 4th year optional with $15M buyout
Always interested is seeing what teams they have for the no trade. Which 5 teams are the ones that he has in 23-24

Garrett Richards to Boston, 1 year $10 million.
This would be perfect for the situation the Sox are in.
