Keith Law's Top 100 for 2020
I'm not. It really doesnt matter to me. I'm just saying it's his job so you just discounting people valuing an expert's opinion is a little over the top. But maybe you do have a better handle on it than them.

Dodgers @ Sox 2PM CT NBCSChicago
Holy Cow! Look at the rear end and tree trunk legs on him. No wonder he can generate so much power. Of course some on this board will insist it's PEds because no one can be built like that without help ^^^^^ ?

Keith Law's Top 100 for 2020
Theoretically he is paid to be an expert on these players whereas we are just fans and don't make our living evaluating these players. So, yes his opinion and evaluation should mean more especially for people who pay for his opinion by subscribing to the publication.

Dont forget Rodon.?

Sox @ Reds: Spring Training Opener (Cease)
Didnt he go outside the organization to driveline or somewhere to work on command?

Field of Dreams Tickets
Shoeless Joe did accept money however.

FS: Dane Dunning throwing without issue
I think his nickname needs to be wild thing due to the glasses.

Aaron Bummer extended 5 years/16M (plus two options)
He was injured so often insurance probably picked up most of the contract so it didn't hurt the team much.

Job Thread
If you can't afford it then you are automatically saying that you are getting inferior care. At least in the current system the best care is available with insurance to many people. If the government runs it, it becomes available to any fewer people.

People will pay for the best healthcare available thus it will always be a for profit industry.

Rotational Lynchpin
I agree. The medical staff should be compensated more for their time and efforts! ? Of course I am a little biased.

Giolito: The White Sox pitching Yoda?
Wait a minute. You mean you will have better control if you stay in a straight line instead of turning to the side? I'm shocked at this revelation.

NFL Thread 2019-2020
The owners already ratified it. I don't think it will be that easy for the players to ratify. Already a number of players that have opposed it.

Giolito: The White Sox pitching Yoda?
Very true. hopefully he also alters his follow through that I've disliked since they drafted him.

White Sox Spring Training Thread
Hey, leave the trainer out of it. The poor guy makes next to nothing (comparatively) and always takes care of everyone. You dont have to berate him as the lowliest person around.

Official 2020 XFL Thread
I really like the kickoffs. They actually get returns and with the blockers so close together they don't have the momentum much more than a regular play. I think the NFL should adopt this one now.

Less Bunting?!
When you have a team of poor hitters, no options are good.

Michael Kopech
I agree. It's the challenge of the better competition. However, I do understand gaining the year of control and needing to limit the innings.

White Sox Spring Training Thread
It's fine. Most of the stats around lineup construction say any lineup order with the same players only matters about 1 game for the whole season. I think it's where the players are the most comfortable is what matters the most.

FOX SPORTS MLB TWITTER VOTE
This is correct. Neither fanbase actually shows up they just live on their computers. All of the real fans are actually at theirs team's Spring training. ?

Less Bunting?!
I know I was saying it all last season. He was playing the hand he was dealt, a bunch of below average hitter who had a better chance to execute a bunt than get a hit. If he has better hitters he won't feel the need to bunt as much. This is really the first time in his entire career he has a good team. I have no idea if he going to be a good manager but I don't think we've seen the "real" manager either.

NFL Thread 2019-2020
If he isn't going to be a backup, I don't think they'll acquire him. It appears they are still in the "Trubiskey is our guy mode." Maybe that Changes.

Sox Payroll Redux. Why did the Spending Stop ?
Agreed. The Sox need to know what they have prior to spending money on much else. They have a bunch of young kids and who knows where they will need to augment going forward.

Michael Kopech
Yes. I saw him pitch at Birmingham once. Not sure what that has to do with the learning at the MLB level. This isn't isolated to Kopech. All MiLB pitchers needs to learn how to pitch to MLB hitters. Just as all MiLB hitters need to learn MLB pitching. There is a learning curve going from the minors to the MLB. That's why most struggle early on. Some handle it better than others.

Bodybuilding is an entirely different training philosophy than baseball training. a little knowledge can be a dangerous sometimes.
