I know I know this movie, but I cannot think of it.

I’d be perfectly happy with 121, or preferably 122, losses. I don’t need the distinction of a worse winning percentage than a team over a hundred years ago. 121/122 stands out to all hardcore and casual fans alike.

“Eh, they still have the A’s and Angels coming up. I could see them winning as many as 4 games between those series. They are out of contention too.” Crap, I said this last week and it’s coming true. I don’t want them to claw back and save face for JR. Hard to believe how much other teams are capable of sucking.

Who is the other guy that’s gonna do the postgame with Chuck? I refuse to unmute to find out.

I know we’re the worst, but sometimes they play another team and you realize they both really, really suck.

Oh man, and Cease’s spot in the rotation is scheduled for the game before this. All we need is one rainout for the Padres in the meantime to make this a perfect storm. I need to do something about this erection before work or I’m in big trouble.

Losing Robert would only make this team worse in a talent/theoretical sense. He’s been terrible this year, so his actual performance wouldn’t be missed at all.

Guys, if they lose the next 6 straight, they can break the all-time loss record and the record for most 10-game losing streaks in the same game. Too perfect to actually happen though.

And I will see myself out.

I’ve read that Hawk has privately belittled the franchise. Weirdly, I also read that the Dolphins QB is a fan, but isn’t very happy about the direction of the team. Think the article was in the Athletic. ”Hawk, Tua spit on that thing”

We all know that JR is very good and loyal to his people. It’s no surprise that people who left his sphere in good standing would continue to carry water for him.

They can’t break it in the first series against the Angels. They’d only be at 120 if they lost every game up to that point. That being said, I am refraining from voting because I’m superstitious.

Let them fight.

Do they even have a PR firm? I feel like that is one of those unnecessary costs in JR’s cheap-ass handbook.

I’m just trying not to get my hopes up. I want this record. And I want it to be shattered, if possible.

But they’re actually a good team. The A’s and Angels are two of the worst teams in baseball. I could see a couple wins in there.

In a sense, it was actually better to see them win ugly yesterday than if they rolled. It shows that the team is able to win even when they shouldn’t. The defense picked up the offense, and it’s likely to happen in the opposite direction at some point. The offense will clearly get better (barring injuries). Since the future HOFer David Carr, I believe.

That one hurts. Clearly a great actor, but more importantly, he was reportedly a very kind and good person.

They’ll be ranked like 21 and still get in. Book it.
