  1. If there’s anyone on this team I feel bad for, it’s Flexen. They’re clearly all sitting in right and centerfield enjoying the sun. Or avoiding the sun, whatever.
  2. I’m with Rusty. Although I thought that front moved in incredibly fast, any reason to s%*# on this organization is a good one.
  3. No, this just gifted the Sox at least one win. Double headers are almost always split. It’s already happened a couple times this year.
  4. You are technically correct. The best kind of correct.
  5. Meaning no offense, but it’s my understanding that you report on the Sox in some capacity? Given that, I understand why you would take a more conservative approach to criticizing any aspect of the team as that can play into access to the team. The rest of us don’t have that issue. We can let loose and blow off some steam. The guy sucks. We don’t want him making decisions anymore.
  6. Took a minute to understand what Ozzie was trying to say, but he finally explained. Being 70 under .500 is basically like going winless for 2 straight months. Yikes.
  7. Another big ape as the bad guy? Yeah, that was stupid.
  8. It really doesn’t seem like that. Definitely feels like they won more than that recently.
  9. And I believe it was two shots that “landed” right next to each other. It didn’t come from outside the park.
  10. Sounds a lot better than Las Espaldas De Diamante.
  11. First, I want to say thank you for keeping this place up and running. Second, there’s a minor issue I’ve experienced. I have to check the “Remember Me” box when I sign in, otherwise it will not log in successfully.
  12. The Giants have tried very hard the last two days to give the Sox a win. I’ve noticed that in a few recent series. A lot of these teams aren’t very good. We are really just that bad.
  13. The problem is that those teams likely allocate their money better. They probably invest in things like their minor leagues, analytics, and the international market. The Sox usually just have a higher payroll, but they spend that payroll on C-level talent in the hopes of catching lightning in a bottle. Most fans would prefer to either spend more freely or to invest in the above areas, but it’s not our call.
  14. Greg, they’re not rebuilding because the fans want them to. They’re doing it because the situation is so fucked up that rebuilding is the only way out other than spending a fucking ton of money. And most fans know that this ownership isn’t going to spend a fucking ton of money, so the only option is to hope they get lucky in rebuilding. Unfortunately, they screw everything up, so they’re likely do screw up the rebuild. It’s basically a no-win situation.
  15. I think it’s being looked at as purely the most number of losses.
  16. You are like Rain Man, except instead of being able to count all the toothpicks, you see multiple vaguely related names in them.
  17. Ah yes, what baseball needs is even more rules.
  18. Yes, all three of them are right there on Getz’s heels.
