  1. While I agree with the sentiment, they are definitely getting two more wins.
  2. They can. They absolutely can. Everyone can, and should.
  3. How this place isn’t absolutely hopping right now is beyond me.
  4. So much for that whole “best situation a #1 QB has ever been in”.
  5. Are you posting via telegram and paying by the word?
  6. For sure. Not sure I know a single person that would disagree.
  7. Disagree on this one. It’s something they just have to own.
  8. Which I’m sure they will not, unless they somehow meet up with another Central team.
  9. Wait, so you guys seriously dislike this? This is like the singular thing they’ve done right this year. They’re mocking the team and being funny.
  10. Guys, I think @Green Line is screwing with you. And doing a damn fine job of it. On another note, I think Lee is going to come into next season as the de facto leader of this team.
  11. Why is everyone only sacking up now when the team is historically bad? Why didn’t these guys speak up years ago? Exactly how feared is JR that these guys kept their mouths shut so long?
  12. That is a pretty good plan, though.
  13. Man, that’s about as equal as you can get for the final 3 games. The same team, two teams separated by one game, and two of the very worst. May the best team win. EDIT: Actually, the two worst teams period.
  14. The same one? Or do they all get individual dicks? Neither sounds pleasant, but the former is obviously much easier.
  15. It’s great that this came out, no doubt. But all it does for the actual fans is prove things we already knew or “knew”. What it really does is prove how worthless our local sports reporters are. No way they were completely unaware of some, or most, of these things, and they didn’t run with anything for fear of the backlash.
  16. I know I know this movie, but I cannot think of it.
  17. I’d be perfectly happy with 121, or preferably 122, losses. I don’t need the distinction of a worse winning percentage than a team over a hundred years ago. 121/122 stands out to all hardcore and casual fans alike.
  18. “Eh, they still have the A’s and Angels coming up. I could see them winning as many as 4 games between those series. They are out of contention too.” Crap, I said this last week and it’s coming true. I don’t want them to claw back and save face for JR. Hard to believe how much other teams are capable of sucking.
  19. Who is the other guy that’s gonna do the postgame with Chuck? I refuse to unmute to find out.
  20. I know we’re the worst, but sometimes they play another team and you realize they both really, really suck.
  21. Oh man, and Cease’s spot in the rotation is scheduled for the game before this. All we need is one rainout for the Padres in the meantime to make this a perfect storm. I need to do something about this erection before work or I’m in big trouble.
  22. Losing Robert would only make this team worse in a talent/theoretical sense. He’s been terrible this year, so his actual performance wouldn’t be missed at all.
  23. Guys, if they lose the next 6 straight, they can break the all-time loss record and the record for most 10-game losing streaks in the same game. Too perfect to actually happen though.
  24. And I will see myself out.
