  1. They’re more like diarrhea. You know, because of the runs.
  2. It still should’ve been obvious to me, but I had to think. How forgettable his time on the team was.
  3. What’s this in reference to?
  4. I didn’t catch a lot of either of these games, but though they still didn’t look good, the Sox seemed to be trying a little harder. Not sure if that’s a compliment to Sizemore or just from the shakeup in general. And does anyone else get annoyed with the pronunciation of Pete Crow-Armstrong’s name? It is the last name that is hyphenated, but everyone pronounces it like it’s Petecrow Armstrong.
  5. I honestly had to think for a second about who that was. Can’t believe how quickly I forgot about Fields.
  6. The answer to all three is “no”.
  7. As soon as the trade deadline passed. Keep him healthy and try to trade again in the offseason, that’s how I see it. No problem at all, my man. Definitely better to get happy drunk than angry/sad drunk.
  8. I don’t know, dude. You know he needs to be shut down, same as everyone else. I’m not arguing specifics. He’s gotten through 120 innings this year, which is damn near a miracle based on his major league history. Now he’s starting to suck and having “mechanical” issues. The Sox are gonna run him out there just to try to avoid embarrassing themselves with the worst record in history, and will hurt him and the franchise in doing so.
  9. A franchise that realizes guys take more than one season to build up to a full workload. I think he’s more than proven that he’s well on his way to a full workload.
  10. A serious issue to me is that even halfway decent free agents won’t want to sign here. Unless you have a Boras type of guy who is simply taking the highest contract, I feel like most guys would take a little less to go almost anywhere else. The free agents we sign will be guys at the end of the road looking for one last major league contract. Signing with the Sox is basically a career ender either way. Spending money means nothing if nobody is willing to do business with you.
  11. Oh look, our “ace” has a 3.65 ERA and is steadily destroying his trade value. It will be fully destroyed when he injures himself. Why the f*** is this guy not already shut down for the season? Good thing he sabotaged his own trade value a few weeks ago. Now the Sox are intent on finishing the job.
  12. I can think of one other way that’s definitely worse.
  13. White Sox: Wanna manage the worst franchise in baseball in a no-win situation? Proven and successful baseball minds: Sign me up!
  14. Jose Abreu or someone similar will be the manager next year. Book it.
  15. I apologize. Thought you were saying the opposite.
  16. There are areas of the city that are incredibly violent, but they apparently don’t count because the city is so big and there are nice areas that barely see violence. So the people living in those nice areas can pretend the “war zones” don’t exist.
  17. I can buy that, but it’s gotta be like 90% option A.
  18. These bums can’t do anything right. And now they’ll probably take a victory lap for avoiding history.
  19. I have a feeling the streak is ending. These guys look just as bad as us today.
  20. I’m not saying they will fix him, just that he’s the type of guy that could be fixed.
