  1. Ozzie is much more entertaining in his role than almost any of the players are in theirs.
  2. Yes, after the season (or possibly in the last couple weeks or so of the current season). It’s the safest bet in the world. I’ve been saying it since last year. They will hold onto him in order to sell the shallowest “accountability” firing in the belief that the ignorant fans will buy it. They axed KW and Hahn last season, and instead of Grifol going with them, they spread the “accountability” over multiple seasons. This franchise is so transparently phony. A terrible screenwriter couldn’t write an antagonist so poorly. If the owner in Major League did the exact same things, people would think it unbelievable.
  3. Beat me to it. The only one that didn’t go almost immediately into a front office or coaching position was Boone. -He’s pulling some hot tail. Three things.
  4. This is undeniably true. And it worries me that the presumptive replace for Grifol is AJ. They were talking on the radio yesterday about how AJ has been very defensive of Reinsdorf recently. While I’d normally be excited about AJ, that makes me think he’s selling his soul for the opportunity. He’s just gonna be another JR ball cupper.
  5. Sounds about right. One of those “old school” rules that that jerkoff would adhere to. Could not have said it better.
  6. A twofer. Loss and another shutout. You should probably take a shower.
  7. Better find a genie in a fucking bottle, otherwise there’s no chance.
  8. If Jerry is making money, I’m happy.
  9. Historically bad season. Possibly the worst ever. Everyone should go, no question.
  10. LOL I love that this is a standard response on a team’s fan message board. They have done everything in their power to earn it though.
  11. Getting Everyone Traded (for) Zilch Or sarcastically in regards to paychecks: Gonna Earn These Zeroes
  12. I’ve been very clear on this. I want them to lose as many games as they can.
  13. Don’t feel like figuring out how to embed a video, but the Fourth of July scene in The Sandlot.
  14. Grifol is also under a .333 winning percentage in his career.
  15. What makes this loss any different or worse than the other 74 so far?
  16. These guys really don’t disappoint. I started following as soon as it was going into the bottom of the 9th. You just know they will blow it.
  17. I thought this was viewership ratings at first. I thought that made sense. Then I realized they were rating the actual announcing, and I still thought the same thing.
  18. 69 would’ve been funnier.
  19. Drank a buttload of Busch Lights.
  20. Sox luck. The quarter lands in a crack and is not clearly heads or tails.
