The problem with both of them is that they tried to become serious actors. And while I think that Sandler actually has the talent to pull off a Robin Williams-esque career (I'm sure many people disagree), I don't think Carrey quite has it. They've both backed off of that route recently, although neither has gone back to their bread and butter. They are making comedies again, but those comedies are not aimed at the same audience as before. They seem to be going after family comedies now.

Ah, the Waterboy. That was Sandler's heyday. I know some people hate all of his work, but that earlier stuff was hilarious. It's sad that he's strayed so far away from that. And now I think I forgot to put Happy Gilmore on my list.

You know what, perhaps EJO is to Colin Hanks what Harry is to Dexter. Maybe he did teach him in college, fell off the face of the Earth (was killed by Hanks or committed suicide in some religious thing), and now that's how Hanks pictures his religious "conscience" or something.

I just doubt it at this point. This season has definitely been better than last year, and I don't mean that simply because last year was awful. This season is pretty good so far. The only thing with Dexter is that it gets a little too over-the-top for me often. I still like it, but I suspend disbelief an awful lot now. Boardwalk Empire was pretty good. I'm glad that they've given Richard a larger and continuous role. I certainly didn't see them scalping the old guy in the wheelchair, though it was definitely cool along with Eli drunkenly taking out that other conspirator. I find myself pulling for both of those characters most of the time. The central characters could all go f*** themselves in my book (Nucky, Jimmy, and Margaret).

If, as you say, Ozzie is a sure-fire Hall of Famer, they should create a Tony La Russa Hall of Fame specificially for himself made entirely of gold and diamonds.

This is not just me saying it for s***s and giggles, as i have seen 12 of his films up to this point. Bollywood films, when done right, just have a entirely different feel to them, almost magical. If anything else, they tend to have beautiful women flaunting all over the screen. I'll add that one. Another one I really enjoyed recent was Trollhunter, and the commom theme between a lot of these movies is a small budget. So how about that? Movies that did a lot with very little.
