  1. Something I've been meaning to ask. How do you pronounce Richar?
  2. Donatello wins easily. I also have Ninja Rap, if anyone needs it.
  3. QUOTE(rangercal @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 07:54 PM) Favre would still trail if you compare the 5 best seasons of each QB. Like I said, we'll have to see their entire careers before we can make an accurate assessment. For those two having better seasons in each's 5 respective seasons, their career totals are very close. And something tells me that Manning's and Brady's career averages will decline as they age.
  4. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 12:24 PM) I was just saying because it seemed like people really believe this Wrestlemania match will be special but I don't think it will be. It's a way to get people to buy tickets with hopes of saying, 'I was at Flair's last match!' ... Mayweather should be allowed to run his mouth like he does off WWE. McMahon, what happened? We used to be all about letting guys amp up their personalities and Money May has been toned down, probably not by his own choice. At the most, he'll come back in random matches and storylines after this "retirement" match. Something like Hogan, Piper, and to a lesser extent, Stone Cold, do. Even though he's more than likely going to have matches again at random intervals, this is basically his retirement. It is special.
  5. QUOTE(rangercal @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 11:55 AM) OK Manning avg TD Passes Per Year 30.6 Avg Wins Per Year 10.5 Brady avg TD Passes Per Year 28.1 Avg Wins Per Year 12.2 Favre avg TD Passes Per Year 27.6 Avg Wins Per Year 10.1 Let's see how those averages for Manning and Brady change as they play longer (especially if they play as long as Favre did).
  6. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 07:37 PM) Yeah, those are pretty bad renditions of Funk and McMahon I got 10/14. I also had the last three wrong, plus I didn't get Special Delivery Jones. No idea who that even is.

I would not recommend Be Kind Rewind.
  9. I believe our payroll was in the low-to-mid 70's when we won it all. That was good for about middle of the pack in the league. I'm probably wrong, but that's how I remember it.

QUOTE(shipps @ Feb 27, 2008 -> 10:27 AM) I thought Vantage Point sucked.I like the idea of the plot but you could hear people laughing in the theatre when they realised that you were going to have to watch the same seen over and over again. All the point of views were to similar, it got so redundant I couldnt wait for the movie to end and it wasnt even half way over. Perhaps the movie just sucked and I attributed my feeling of boredom to something else. Either way, I don't really ever plan on seeing that movie again.

Well, that entire thing went exactly as I thought it would.

I thought it was kind of weird that they had a cutoff date for the In Memorandum thing. I just kind of feel that Roy Scheider should've been mentioned, as he only died like a week and a half ago, but now they won't say anything about his death until well over a year later.
  13. QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 24, 2008 -> 06:16 PM) Ha. He has almost no chance of making that rotation. That's about the first thing I thought when I saw that. There are few teams out there where he'd have less of a chance at making the rotation. I don't think this was the best choice for Colon.

I'm actually going to try to watch the whole thing tonight. I haven't actually watched the entire show in probably 5 years or so. I'm going with Daniel Day-Lewis for best actor, Javier Bardem for best supporting actor, and No Country For Old Men for best picture. The rest of the awards I can admit that I have no idea, as I really haven't seen enough of the movies that the actresses that are up for the awards are in. The more I think about it, the best supporting actor should be really close and I can see any of the five taking it home. And for best directing, I'm gonna go with either NCFOM or TWBB.
  15. QUOTE(SnB @ Feb 24, 2008 -> 03:36 PM) i wanna be this drunk at some point. If i'm drunk on the computer, i just make alot of typos, but fix them all. Yeah, I don't understand how baldy people type when they're drunk. It almost seems like they're exaggerating on purpose. I can be black-out drunk, and still write coherently. This I know for a fact.

I just saw Vantage Point a few hours ago. It was a decent action flick. I probably would've enjoyed it much more if I hadn't seen the preview for it at least 25 times. They showed that trailer before almost every movie I've seen in the last 3 months. It was almost a chore to actually watch the movie.
  17. QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 18, 2008 -> 09:04 PM) I don't think it will be one on one. With Rey's arm screwed up, I bet the only way he gets to wrestle at WM is in a tag match. Rey/Mayweather vs. Show/? I'd like to see Show pin Mayweather. Everyone would expect the other way, a la LT/Bigelow Doesn't Mayweather have somewhat of an ego? I'm not sure I can see him allowing that to happen.
  18. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 17, 2008 -> 03:24 AM) Dang, missed the dunk contest. Gonna hav to youtube it. But I'm glad Dwight won, after the screwjob he got last year. Eh, I'm beginning to think the fix is in for every dunk contest. There was last year. The year before that was the garbage when Iguodala got screwed. And this year, they were clearly hyping Howard for the win throughout the entire contest. Granted, I believe he deserved to win this year, but it wasn't as open-and-shut as they made it out to be. Plus, the Superman dunk wasn't even a dunk. He actually only jumped about 3 feet (although he did jump very high) and threw the ball in. I'm glad the homerun derby doesn't count long foul balls and high warning track shots as homers.
  19. On the front page, this says "Nick Masset reports 25 pounds ..." I thought for sure it was going to say heavier.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Feb 15, 2008 -> 02:47 PM) Considering this is the worst time to see a movie (content wise)...I'm sorry for you. There's been some gems.

I think I've literally seen every (non-chick flick) movie that has come out in the last three months. Just throwing that out there. I go to at least one movie a week, and usually two.
  22. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 15, 2008 -> 02:30 PM) just make sure after a few of those beers you dont try and light a cigarette with a stove, because youll likely burn yourself Ha, I just got some cigars for Valentine's day. That sounds like trouble. But, I now realize that I meant to post this in the Catch-All thread. Something about the random discussion here must've threw me off.
  23. So, I took today off to make this 3-day weekend a 4-day weekend. I'm currently having some beer and blasting my new itower.
  24. There is always some idiot on the opposing team to say this. Is it that hard to shut your mouth for a week (or two, in this case)?
