QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 02:34 PM) I strongly doubt Paulie is working with New York or anything like that. Now that Nucci is dead Tony is really all that Paulie has left. Ooh, so true. Maybe Paulie dies by somehow defending Tony, possibly even taking a bullet for him. So many possibilities. I cannot freaking wait. Wikipedia says the last episode is 61 minutes long. I like that it's actually longer than most other episodes.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 01:48 PM) I don't think Patsi's son gives Patsi the time of day. Where was he... the chicken s*** was likely still running. That's what's great. It can be looked at two ways. He might not be with Tony at the end because he's scared that he left Silvio for dead and ran, or he might have been part of the hit in the first place.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 01:36 PM) We keep forgetting Patsi Parisi was nowhere to be found after Silvio's shooting. Could he be working both sides and even setting his son up with Meadow to get more inside info on Tony? And I bet Patsy's harboring a grudge against Tony for the death of his twin brother. Not sure I agree with it, but it's definitely plausible. His running away can be construed as either fear or part of the hit.

I didn't notice the cardboard cut-out. What's up with that?

Where's that write-up? I need it!

Benoit bores THE HELL out of me. I haven't found him interesting in years.
-
Just grasping for anything here, if Paulie really is working with the NY family, he may have lied to Tony about Silvio's imminent death.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 07:35 AM) Phil wanted to decapitate Tony's family. He had to take out the top three guys. Sil was number two. I wonder if Tony can reach out to the other NY families who didn't sign off on taking out the whole NJ family? Oh, I know why they did it. I'm just expressing my emotional attachment to the character. Ha, thanks though.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 3, 2007 -> 08:24 PM) I was actually very surprised by my reaction while watching the episode. I was visibly shaken as Sil was getting shot. Maybe it was just because how committed you have gotten to the characters over the last 7, 8 years, but it was sort of hard to watch it all come crashing down. I really have never been this way with any sort of show, and love it. What a fantastic episode tonight. I was actually shaking right after they shot Bobby and all through Silvio's death. I really didn't want to see them go. Now I have to root for my second favorite character...Paulie Walnuts.

Why did Silvio have to go? Why?!

I'm not as upset as I usually am when this type of realization occurs. I wasn't able to watch an actual game until a week and a half ago, so I never really had my expectations set. But, to my point: We can get a WHOLE LOT of good, young prospects for a bunch of our players. If we're going to rebuild, I want us to go all into it. Trade every last piece that we can to improve ourselves in a couple years. I'm talking Buehrle, Contreras, Vazquez, MacDougal, Dye, Iguchi, Uribe, and Crede. Maybe even Thornton, AJ, and anyone I forgot that's not young. Put them all on the market, see what we can get. -
QUOTE(Soxfest @ May 31, 2007 -> 09:40 PM) Ron Killings recently responded to the news story on the incident between John Cena and himself at an airport. The following is what he posted up on his MySpace blog at myspace.com/ronkillings1: "John Cena did'nt approach me "Ron Killings" about sh$%# at the airport,,infact,,this is second run in that we've had..First one was kind of a calling his bluff type thang....even tryin to comunicate with him to see what's up with what i've been hearing,,also all the interviews he did supposely calling me out..Big Mistake,,Then he leaves voice messages on my cell talking about battleing me and about thrashing my ass,,not to mention people he's done interviews with tell me John Cena wanted us to call you so he could battle you.....Man Please!! He did what he should've done,,and that's nothing!!I wish he would try to play that battle rap sh$%# with me,,I'll just eat his ass alive, and spit and sh#$% out the pieces i dont like,,Just like I told him,, He's a Punk ass,,rap wanna be ME! I can see why he became a professional wrestler. That English teacher gig wasn't working out for him.

The Grudge and The Ring are only scary if you find the jerky movements of the killers scary. I didn't.

I am absolutely convinced that Hawk died years ago. They just have a sound board of his sayings, rants, and wild tangents. -

MacDougal is unbelievably terrible this year. Our bullpen is nowhere near the expectations I had for them before the year started. -

As soon as Hawk said that Kazmir pitches basically just 6 innings in every start, I knew he'd go at least 7 against us. I swear, El Duque or Vazquez could throw a CG against this team. -

QUOTE(mr_genius @ May 27, 2007 -> 04:20 PM) doubt it. 15 - 18 mil would be the MAX he could get. either way, don't want him for that amount. So who leads off for us? -

QUOTE(fathom @ May 27, 2007 -> 04:17 PM) I'm so sick of every excuse he gets, etc....the guy sucks for the amount of money he makes. That's the reason I'll probably never like him. He's almost a thief. -

5 ER for Vazquez today. He's sure turned it around and become the ace we've all expected... -

If it's true that the Sox are going after Ichiro in the offseason, I can't see them making any sort of trade for a viable LF this season. KW wouldn't want to give up the young pitching he's acquired recently for a guy that he intends to replace with Ichiro. We'll probably have to deal with having an even worse LF platoon than we've had before, which is hard to believe can even exist. -

Hawk keeps mocking Pena's homer. I guarantee if Thome hit the exact same pitch for a homer, he'd say it was because he's country strong and not a wind-assisted pop fly that he's calling it for Pena.
