Relationship Advice Thread
QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 11, 2016 -> 10:34 AM) Have you read a word of his posts about gay life? He's trying to educate us. He has a unique perspective and is trying to inform. What he writes is totally contrary to what is portrayed. 400 partners? How can you say that when you have extrapolated the entire gay lifestyle based on one sentence he wrote about other people he knows? He didnt say every gay man has 400 partners or more, he said he knows some that have.

Relationship Advice Thread
QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 11, 2016 -> 01:57 AM) I think the gay life is a lot different in reality than we've been told on TV shows, etc. It sounds like a big orgy type situation. Whitesoxjr27 is telling us some wild stuff that gay life is more about sex sex sex than the stuff we've been sold about gay marriage, etc. How the hell would any males stay married with this desire for sex being the only factor in gay relationships according to whitesoxjr?? Has the public been sold a bill of goods thinking gay lifestyle is basically the same as hetero lifestyle? Same goals of marriage, raising kids, having a picket fence, etc?? greg, you live near a major college. The only bill of goods you have is not very authentic nor is it truthful

Gallardo signs with Orioles, 3 years, $35 million
QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Feb 11, 2016 -> 07:46 AM) http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles...0210-story.html I had forgotten about the Orioles signing Jimenez and Cruz a few years ago. Going by that, I guess the Orioles could be in on Fowler after all if they sign Gallardo. Really do not understand why they didn't re-sign Chen, just stupid. It just goes to show that fans everywhere can look at their own GMs and say "WTF DUDE! WHY??!?"

White Sox Sign Mat Latos
QUOTE (LDF @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 08:38 PM) i am really stoke on the signing of latos. this will really add to the sp pitching of the sox. # 1-4 will be solid, #5 Danks, then # 6 / 7 the sox have ej and turner, the wildcard will be beck. this has to be the strongest rotation i have seen since the 90's. finish the shopping with jackson at cf or murph also a LH hitter OF'er. which i really like his hit vs so = to his avg, and use him as a platoon. That 05 rotation wasn't too bad

Gallardo signs with Orioles, 3 years, $35 million
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 11:03 AM) The Orioles make no sense. Why not offer Latos more money and get him instead? Gallardo isn't even that good anymore and the pick attached to him lowers his value even more. I thought Gallardo was pretty good last year?

Orioles DO NOT Sign Fowler
I will be glad when this thread finally ends. This is the longest saddest plodding-est thread for a player that we all merely kind of want but dont want to part with a draft pick.

White Sox interested in SS Ian Desmond
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 07:34 AM) But the article isn't about that. There is a poll/survey at the end and the "fans" chose the Astros, Blue Jays and Tigers. The individual writer ranked them all and wrote individual summaries. Where is he wrong? You're telling me that the Future Sox writers or mods here would write the same article and put the Royals 10th just to get revenge and couldn't put aside their individual biases to write a fair and balanced appraisal? I'm sure at least ten here could, if not twelve. Im saying that all offseason you have done nothing but talk about the Royals, posted articles of theirs, forced their narrative into completely unrelated discussions, every chance you get. It is tiring telling you to stay on topic all the time. How about this, why dont you post articles from Margalus? SSS? Write Sox? I dont want to read an article that in the first paragraph refers to every other team as their underlings, mostly because I have had to hear that from you every day since the world series ended. /fin

White Sox interested in SS Ian Desmond
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 07:07 AM) They have the White Sox in fourth, which is the consensus right now. Four teams are behind the White Sox, which is a pretty realistic assessment. Where would you place them as of today? Why would they have an agenda to hype the Tigers or Indians? What in the synopsis paragraph that was written about each team is incorrect? The only obvious error was not mentioning Yu Darvish's comeback with the Rangers. They actually have Texas regressing to 9th, one spot in front of the Sox and also admit the Rays could easily fall back in the pack as well. Does Jim Margalus at SSS have the Sox higher? Going by his tone this entire offseason, it's highly doubtful. Where i place them and what Margulas thinks doesnt really matter. What do the Royals fans think, thats what matters.

White Sox interested in SS Ian Desmond
QUOTE (GreenSox @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 10:51 AM) Expected by whom? I hope the Sox brass expected a bit more than a .704 OPS with bad defense for their $42 million + loss of draft choice investment. The offense should be okay They didn't want to spend on more elite hitters, so go on the cheap and fix the defense. Sign Jackson or the like. To contend anyway, they need to fix the outfield defense and get more out of pitchers 3-5. You think they need to get more out of the 3rd pitcher? Im really not concerned about Rodon/Quintanas production

I think even if my wife loved me and cared for me, if she didnt have the sex drive at all and wasnt interested in me anymore that would destroy our marriage. I wouldnt want an open marriage because I would carry that guilt with me, I would rather end the marriage. Thats just my opinion though

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 11:44 AM) These flu bugs that run through households are ruthless. Something I never experienced until I had kids. Friday the 3-year old pukes up her entire breakfast. Saturday night my wife couldn't even keep water down. Sunday the 5-month old finishes a bottle of milk and immediately pukes the entire thing up. Last night it was my turn to spend the night in misery in the bathroom. Luckily the kids didn't get it that bad, but it's crazy how it just goes from person to person, day by day. our house has a head/chest cold. Not pleasant

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 06:54 AM) So every actor and actress that has worked with Woody Allen should be boycotted in your opinion? Where does political correctness begin and end? If the comparison was Bill Clinton, am I implicitly calling, let's say Marco Rubio, a rapist and womanizer if they have some of the same political traits and I had compared Rubio to Obama and Clinton? what the f*** are you talking about? You said Sanders was a cross between Larry David and woody allen, I agree with the first one and disagree with the second one. I didnt say anything about boycotting everyone that has worked with Woody Allen, i said WOODY ALLEN IS A WHINY ACCUSED CHILD RAPIST.

2016 Democratic Thread
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 8, 2016 -> 08:31 PM) I don't think anyone's supporting Sanders because of his eloquence (he's like a cross between Larry David and Woody Allen but taller), his style or appearance, it's almost 100% what he represents or symbolizes or a protest against the establishment. Now on those occasions like Nixon and JFK in 1960, it might have been a small factor, but less so than the Kennedy machine greasing Chicago. And, in another way, it's going to be turned against Rubio now...that he's just another more packaged, less intellectual version of Obama without the ability to do well in retail politics outside of his own bubble of advisors. The further irony here is he was taken down a peg or two by a candidate some have argued was unelectable due to his weight issues in Christie. A whiny accused child rapist. Nice
