Why not just call up Kim and see if he can play cf instead of gambling on 15m + 2m buyout for Robert? They're already paying Kim... Robert just seems like a salary dump at this point. He needs to be on pace for a 2.5 war season just to get serious offers at the deadline so the 20m team options make sense.

Montgomery alone should outperform Crochet in the long run. when you throw in a 6 yr starting C in Teel, this is an A+ trade. has the potential to be a 3X value in the sox favor. 🤤 really makes up for the horrible cease trade

cease was projected to be a top 10 pitcher and ended up #5 on fangraphs. Sox got a 90mph SP with bone spurs for him after the brewers got Ortiz. every GM is going to lowball Getz because they know he cant properly negotiate. not getting my hopes up 🤷♂️

to the IL after 45 innings with a 90mph fastball? no wonder the yanks and padres gave up on him so quickly. Pros prob told them about something funky in his delivery that's adding extra stress to his arm. oh well. worst case, he didn't project to be higher than a #3 anyways. Shut him down, teach him how to throw correctly, and hope for a better 2025.
