BA has a lot of signings that haven't been on the web yet. These include Broadway 30k Denlinger 10k Ellard 20k Luna 10k

Especially because the right to free speech isn't absolute, and it doesn't exist at all in the private sector.

Finally rolled through Schitts Creek. What a great show. I think the best compliment I can pay it, is that it didn't feel like a show I had already seen before. Completely new and unique, and didn't insult your intelligence to get comedic laughs. Very highly recommended.

A player has to be on a teams roster an entire season to be able to give a qualifying offer. They also can't have had one extended to them previously.

Side note, I wonder if this makes the Lambert skip take on a different tone? #HugWatch?

I am going to guess there is one big name that blows us away. I do think we will add a 2B and at least one reliever, but I think we add someone that no one is really talking about. No evidence, just a hunch.

I think the Sox roster as it is constructed is fine on the bottom end. If they add, it will be meaningful. They have a lot of mediocre players they can move around. That doesn't help them.

There is no bigger waste of time than spending it on attendance arguments. Your team is the Justin Beiber of baseball, who cares?

He has been injured SOOOO many times before, it seems like a crazy bet to me. And on the other hand, the Angels seem like a prime team to overbid for him, and then get 1.5 years with of pitching out of those 4 years when he gets hurt again.

By the last decades rules, the Sox would have been a playoff team in 2006.

If the Padres are willing to back up the truck, there isn't really anyone around baseball who can/will/should outbid them.

Injuries to both Esobar and then the player that AZ was supposed to get for EE is the rumor.

I might be alone on the branch, but again, I do not want to be the team giving him a multiple year contract.

It isn't a big leap to predict something that has already happened multiple times.

$18m with a $1 mil buy out.

If he is striking out 40% of the time at AA, the whole work knows what would happen if you stuck him on a major league roster that soon. He has HUGE power, but he also has a HUGE hole in his bat, that will get much worse at the highest level. I am going to guess he's struggle to hit .200 and would strike out 50+% of the time.

This. He's a 10/5 guy on top of a Cardinals legend. The ONLY way he goes anywhere is if he tells the organization to trade him. I haven't seen anything indicating he even wants to leave.

The problem with Micker is that a team has to have him on the major league roster opening day 2022, or they potentially lose him to waivers to send him down. Even with his power numbers, he is still striking out 40% of the time. That will keep his trade value pretty low.

To tack on @Y2Jimmy0, have you guys gotten any reports on the UDFAs? With 10 less rounds there might actually be some talent there, no?

Fireworks.

Until 2016, this would have been really obvious. But even pandemics have been politicized.

Sheets is the kind of guy you move for a Rental to a team who is still thinking about next year.
