Since the cap subject has been brought up I have a disclosure to make. My choice in caps cost us the game Tuesday. I'm sorry and very ashamed ashamed. I grabbed a hat from the Sox cap collection, making sure it was not one I'd worn for any of the games of the ALDS - not repeating seemed to be working, so that's the mojo I went with. I grabbed a Red '72 era cap that was one of those Cell freebies with the ugly Miller Light patch on the side and put it on to watch the game. After the loss, I took the hat off and to my horror I realized that it had Josh Paul's autograph on it. I was wearing a cap that had Angel karma infused into it! :o Yesterday I made sure that cap was shoved way to the bottom of the pile, and you saw the results for yourself. So, while it's true I cost us Game 1, it's also true that I reversed the mojo by BURYING JOSH PAUL under a mountain of Sox cap energy!
