Fire Rick Hahn
Th other thing I question is even if somehow Hahn and KW left, how attractive would this job be? Would anyone new have to keep Pedro and Getz and all the coaches and non development staff? If so, what kind of quality candidate would be interested?

Fire Rick Hahn
That’s pretty much how I look at it. If they are still letting him make decisions now, they don’t seem to think he’s part of the problem.

When Hawk was the GM, one thing JR called a mistake, they were 44-57 after 101 games. This team is 3 games worse in the middle of their multiple championship window.

You’re absolutely right. Cheap and will do things their way.

The Sox were going to suck regardless, but LaRussa was a bad manager. Pedro is worse. Anyone who wants to defend Pedro, what has he done to show he’s not one of the worst managers in baseball? If I hear we just need to flush it again, I’m going to puke. This was Ricks handpicked guy, and he really couldn’t be worse. Another Hahn fail. I see a pattern. Make it end.

Ozzie must thank the White Sox every day for not hiring him again.

Ozzie and Chuck are questioning Pedro. Not good for Pedro.

Fire Rick Hahn
It’s crazy. It’s the one thing that makes me think they may keep everyone around. The one saving grace is more ticket holders will bail if they do than ever before. The team has to know this.

This team might have even been worse if AJ Pollock and his 50 something wRC didn’t hand them a gift last winter. Fire this clown.

Eric Karros seems annoyed he's being paid to describe this game.

I don’t think it can be emphasized enough. Rick has been GM for 11 seasons. In only 1 of those 11 seasons could fans go to the ballpark and see a team better than mediocre, and most of the time a lot less. Fire Rick Hahn before he does even more damage.

GameThread: White Sox @ Twins
Lance Lynn is the reincarnation of James Shields. Supposed tough guys who suck so bad. They also have a tendency to have the games they pitch be over in the 1st inning.

I have the feeling if they don't trade him, the will DFA him soon after.

Paulie would be a great hitting coach. He'd never do it.

Updated MLB Farm System Rankings After 2023 MLB Draft
I agree. What's the difference between 22 and 30? Chances are you may have a reliever who can sometimes get people out, and a few replascement level guys. I'm still waiting for the White Sox to develop someone not highly thought of when signed, that becomes a professional hitter. Like Maggs, but doesn't even need to be as good as he was.

Updated MLB Farm System Rankings After 2023 MLB Draft
They just don't develop anyone thats not premium like Sale and Robert. They haven't had a 2nd round pick put up a 2.0 career WAR for them for over 50 years. When is the last time they drafted a guy anywhere but the first round and he became a real solid regular player? The only time they weren't among the worst systems is when they traded for players other teams developed.

Eloy...yet again...
I have no idea. Maybe he has one leg a little longer than the other and his gait compensates for it and causes problems. All I know is since I've watched sports, some guys are always hurt, some guys get hurt once in a while, and some guys seem to be able to always answer the bell. And they are all shapes and sizes in all categories. I personally feel some are just more susceptible to injuries. He apparently drew a short straw. It would be great if the Big Hurt was correct, and it was just lack of preparation. That would be fixable. I have a hard time believing the White Sox would let this linger as long as it has if that was the case.

Eloy...yet again...
It has to be because he's injury prone. The guy is 26 years old. Most 26 year olds can run 90 feet and not get hurt, whether they stretch out or spend a winter getting their legs in shape.

Eloy...yet again...
We don't know that, and it's hard to believe even the White Sox would let him slack. I like Frank, but he's not around the team, so he has no idea.
