  1. Using scared to death, innocent kids as political pawns tells you all you need to know about Trump and his idiot followers. Scum of the earth. There's a story out about a guard at one of these "camps" who quit when he was told not to let siblings hug each other. I always thought America stood for something much better. I was wrong.
  2. "Manafort has nothing to do with our campaign," Trump said. "But I tell you, I feel a little badly about it. They went back 12 years to get things that he did 12 years ago. Paul Manafort worked for me for a very short period of time." He contradicts himself in 2 seconds.
  3. Stormy Daniels cancelled 4 of her 5 shows at the Admiral due to a dispute with strip club owners.
  4. He can't throw strikes which makes him meat in the major leagues.
  5. Manafort's bail is revoked. Will wait for his trial in the big house. Really nice guy. Totally unfair. Never really worked for Trump. Only his campaign manager. Did very little.
  6. 5.20 ERA 1.44 WHIP 6.1 BB/9 innings. If he came up, he wouldn't be any better than Fulmer or Giolito.
  7. The next time a team has too much starting pitching will be the first time a team has too much starting pitching.
  8. If this is how he truly feels, think of all the people who were disobedient to Obama, including himself, who should be very lucky they didn't wind up in a labor camp.
  9. He isn't a full strength yet. If this is bad Carlos, Rodon is going to be an ace.
  10. But hey, they put their hands on their hearts and stand up straight for the National Athem. True patriots. BTW, it's been 10 years since Trump donated to his namesake charity. Quality guy. (CNN)The New York attorney general is suing President Donald Trump's charitable foundation along with its directors -- the President, his sons Eric and Donald Jr. and daughter Ivanka, alleging they violated state and federal charities law. Attorney General Barbara Underwood alleges a pattern of persistent illegal conduct over more than a decade that includes extensive unlawful political coordination with the Trump presidential campaign.
  11. Steve McCatty changed his motion a bit in Charlotte. He started throwing a little harder with a bit more movement. This actually might last. Maybe not at the level we currently see it, but if he is anything but a long reliever, and you have to figure right now he certainly looks like a piece of a rotation, he's a shock. When I saw him last year I wondered WTF? They had to have 40 guys in their organization that had what he had. Not nowl
  12. One thing expanding the playoffs that much would do is curtail tanking.
  13. I think my best memory of the Chris Beck era was when he was DFA'd.
  14. That's my point. Have them for an entire season when they are supposed to be good, or have them for a month or two when they are bad. They will have almost all of next season to "get their feet wet". To me, calling them up now is just being impatient. In 2007, John Danks was pretty awful. The Sox pretty much shut him down at the beginning of September. He came back the next season a changed man. Missing that September "development" didn't hurt him at all.
  15. I think when it gets to be a month or two, at this stage of the rebuild, you should keep an eye on service time, it's silly not to. There are situations you can't say no, but IMO, we aren't close. Now it is all about hurting his feelings or pissing off a fanbase that is sick of losing almost every night. I think a few wins here and there will quiet the calls for Kopech and Jimenez.
  16. I don't see the consistency of a guy who is ready for the major leagues. Let him work on it. Next year around tax day call him up for good. He will have all of 2019 to learn. If that isn't enough, he probably isn't a stud.
  17. If Kopech was dominating AAA, I would probably agree with you, although there are many cases where that simply was not true. It's hard to come up with a player who spent too much time in the minor leagues that it hurt him. It's probably happened, but would be hard to quantify. Kris Bryant, didn't hurt him. George Springer, Carlos Correa, didn't hurt. Gleyber Torres, missing a year didn't seem to set him back. If these guys are stars, an extra couple months in AAA isn't going to harm them. In other sports, I'm sure Lebron James could have played in the NBA when he was a sophomore in HS. He still was pretty good his rookie year, after spending a couple more seasons vs. high school kids. If Kopech is so fragile keeping him in Charlotte the rest of this season and a couple weeks next season is going to really hurt him, there's a pretty good chance something else will come along much worse and derail him anyway.
  18. No he won't. Republicans would never remove him. If the exact same crap were coming out about Hillary right now, the proceedings would have already begun without any charges from Mueller. But Trump is a victim. Why should he be held accountable for anything he's ever done?
  19. No chance. "Republicans" love him. He has an R after his name. That's all that matters. he doesn't have to truly be a republican.
  20. Which was obviously going to be the result. Sure some Walmart employees got one time bonus of up to $1000 if you were there forever, most got about $250. But people who weren't spending the money they have got thousands of times more than that. And the deficit created will lead republicans to cut other programs non rich depend on to survive, but fuck them. They didn't inherit a ton of money, they are obviously useless.
  21. There's a tweet for everything. Apparently China still doesn't respect our leaders North Korea is reliant on China. China could solve this problem easily if they wanted to but they have no respect for our leaders. 4:33 AM - 30 Mar 2013
  22. Looks like Cohen is going to sing. The tweets should get entertaining soon.
  23. So let me get this straight, illegals are pouring in even though border patrol is doing a great job , so we need a wall. The economy is better than it's ever been. Ever. Although in every trade deal, and in all alliances the US is being ripped off beyond belief. We do have to spend more money than ever on military, although the smart, funny, talented dictator of NK doesn't like military exercises in South Korea, so those can be stopped, because, they are expensive.
