Life occupied my day so saw nothing. Great to see a W and especially Colson going deep and Braden 2 hits.

I think Hagen's College World Series work would help him today.

I don't like using Smith in the first simply because it takes him out of the equation later in the game. If he goes two strong and then the bulk guy gets them 5, that's cool but that's not how this seems to work for them.

Insane that I have no care about this game with playoff baseball still hanging around.

Guys are having fun. Somehow within 20 minutes of the end of the game, they are "hammered" it's called celebrating. My guess is they had fun and were perfectly fine come this morning. Trap games occur because you look beyond your opponent. Every game is a playoff game until we are set at WC or Division champs.

The 83 White Sox run was something very cool and not as fully improbable as this year. How they ended up running away with that division was crazy.

Phillies last two weeks of the season have been insane Atlanta, Milwaukee and now Tampa The cubs catching the mets, phillies, and padres all at the right time and now Boston is insane luck. They also had 2 10 game winning streaks and a 10 game losing streak.

I just don't think they are that good.

Personally I'll like for Len to move to tv with the guarantee he gets to move to radio for the playoffs.

Funny this thread went this way as my White Sox text hate watch sting got into old David Letterman clips recently. Maybe I was young and bored but man that was great late night TV in the early 80s

Both guys in Tampa should win those awards. The Sox are a nice story but being average after sucking hard for 3 years should not win you an award.

Newcomb has a history as starter in the MLB so that makes sense that he does well. It's a stupid plan with Murphy and Hudson

I get the idea of not moving defenders but I do not like it, Colson has been awful. Roll with Meidroth and Antonacci on the infield and Grichuk in LF. Hell I'd take Doyle over Colson at this point. Not Acuna but I am getting closer on that one.
