The White Sox will take the college pitcher over a high school pitcher. Brady Singer and Alec Hansen will look nice in the pipeline.

I'm old so I don't watch ESPN or MTV. I watch AMC, History and Discovery. I am not quite old enough to watch Fox News or CNN unless there is a breaking something. Maybe my head is a little in the sand but I like it there and have enough to worry about getting through the day and trying to find Charlie Tilson.

So if Shields mentoring gets Giolito into the HOF and Tatis gets into the Hall of Fame it's a wash in my book...now...where the hell is Charlie Tilson.

Does he go through the posting process? If so, Don't teams have to bid on him and the $300K/$10M is not the issue but who gives the most money to this controlling team to win the bid similar to Tanaka. Can it have been written in a contract somewhere that he splits that fee 50/50? Can this fee be $100M?
