  1. He really has no solid skill to rely on. Does nothing exceptionally well and is average in a couple of things and below average in others. Burger may be an overall better player.
  2. Maybe if strike three had hit the ground and bounced up.
  3. That's a White Sox at bat right there. No need to swing at first pitch, may have been called a strike but nothing you were going to do with it anyway. Second pitch wasn't close. Could have been 3-0. Nothing to do with pitch recognition or anything just having a plan when you come up knowing what has unfolded.
  4. What a meltdown for what is supposed to be a MLB closer. This is like watching Lopez pitch.
  5. Unless they are tearing it down, what's the option?
  6. One of the these guys are homering this inning the first half cannot end on a positive note.
  7. I don't think it will matter but put him in LF and see if it helps and then when he is injured he can sit out. I found it interesting that he has never had a walk off hit.
  8. Vaughn, Eloy, Anderson, Sheets, Grandal and Zavala are all essentially the same shitty player that stand in different spots on the field and have such massive flaws in their game that they are nothing more then average players at best. Build around Robert. Hopefully Moncada finds some magic in August and September and see what Burger and Perez have. Perez looks like he may be an MLB hitter. The White Sox should do whatever they need to to retain whatever starting pitching (Giolito, Lynn and Clevenger) they have as it's obvious the farm has nothing in the short term. A new GM may go about it differently but there is no pitching nor will you get any in a trade for Giolito or Lynn. Only have Joe Kelly throw throw fast balls and hope the rest of the pen figures it out The Cardinals really just pitched to Robert there.......oh Oliver. he and Grifol should be given a nice 14U travel ball team to run
  9. It's a little before my time but I saw a photo of the stadium named after him yesterday and that's why I choose him... I figured if they name a stadium after him he must have done something right although Charles Comiskey is never confused with being a prince of an owner.
  10. Only pitch he can get over now is the slider.....maybe he's done trying as well Change and fastball out of the zone that were swung at, the high change for the 2-1 lead....I'm cutting the grass this is a waste of time as usual.
  11. Oliver Marmol makes Grifol look like Connie Mack. Cardinal fans are used to a well run organization...this is how other fans feel watching the White Sox.....why the hell do I still watch the White Sox?
  12. Another solid AB but he pitcher in the #2 spot
  13. White Sox coaching has finally began to work with him. They probably didn't waste their time the last 7 years has he didn't fit the poor strike zone coverage hitter the major league roster covets.
  14. The absolute embarrassment of a roster constructed by the moron Hahn and further embarrassed by the idiotic manager Grifol is truly something to behold this season. It is so difficult to watch this team have no clue as to how to go about having a professional AB. I still cannot figure out why Anderson is not batting lead off with Benintendi out. He is worse #2 hitter then lead off and he currently shouldn't be doing either. The stupidity of this organization really is something to behold.
  15. He wants Manning to stay in to see if he could get it solo.
  16. Sox pitching Kd 14 today. Is that stat now 0-9 when they do that.....seems like it impacts the energy of these losers significantly.
  17. I turned on FS1 for Reds game and they have truck racing on......WTF.....I don't get FS2......truck racing.....
  18. I think if no trades are made Hahn is gone after the season. If there are trades he's safe. It's apparent that Tim Anderson doesn't even care any more. There is zero effort. Again if he's hurt and you feel the need to play him bat him down in the order. This organization and namely Hahn and Grifol are a joke.
  19. Thought they were pitching around Remillard to get to the pitchers spot.
  20. No clue but it would make it seem it was unplanned seeing as after tomorrow he has 4 days off....it's the White Sox it's all a mystery.
  21. If it was planned it should have been yesterday v LHP but that's a bit much analysis for the White Sox.
  22. It's really something how this lineup allows a pitcher to settle in. Miles will go 5 scoreless without breaking a sweat. Touki should go one more but Pedro will try and extend him before Tanner Banks gets lit up.
  23. Good thing they spent all that money on a bullpen to have 40% of your starts be bullpen days. I guess when you have 1 potential starter in your minor league organization that's what you get. It's amazing how bad Hahn is.
  24. Anderson RC in the first inning has to be under 20.
