Changing the mojo.. Sox-D'backs 6/15/05
Thomas and Evereett need abs, as does harris, when was the last time Ozuna hit? It is almost alarming the amount of chances timo gets.

QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) An emotional rush like that can be as intoxicating as Bourbon. or a couple of 6' ft twin blondes inviting you in for gin and juice.

QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:59 PM) Simply put, Frank is one of the best pure hitters of our lifetime. There is no way he should be hitting like this after all the problems. He is just amazing at the plate. I'll third that a professional hitter.

QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:52 PM) Politte better be coming in, Jon is so damn lucky. There shoud have been a double play and KOnerko should've thrown Clayton out prior to the BS homer. Leave him, just my two cents.

I have been saying this for years. The White Sox do not fight of tough pitches by fouling them off, they pop them up. The umpiring has been bad. That pitch to Iguchi was neck to letter high, no joking. This is what this team is. If the starting pitching is not lights out we will lose. Frank Thomas is our best hitter. Paul Konerko is gone after this season, not soon enough. We are a very good team if we do not make mistakes. The D'Backs are schooling us, oh well lets get back at it. The Twins are the same.

Neal's hidden No-Hitter
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 03:53 PM) Checking through the game log, Neal Cotts hasn't given up a hit since May 29th. In his last 7 appearences, covering 9.2 IP, he has stuck out 10 while walking 4 and not allowing a hit. Didn't Shingo retire 27 straight last year

Questions for Dave Wilder
What are your thoughts on the Willy Wonka remake and do feel Johnny Depp handled the role you played so well as adequetly as you would've liked? Also, going into a draft is there a certain mindset to focus on one aspect and really hit it hard, (i.e. pitching, specific positon, high school guys, JUCO, College guys, etc.) rather they the so-called best available player theory we hear in most draft speak? Terry Boers rips Sox tradition
Boers was moronetti before he took his crap to radio. He is a negative dolt like most idiots on that station. It sucks that the sox are moving there as there isn't a good broadcaster on that station North, B&B, no afternoon programming at all, Murphy is a complete clown, late night. They got the Sox because other than North nobody makes any money on that station. If they are paying murphy more than minimum wage they are stupid.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 10:27 PM) Hate to say it...but even with that miss in the 9th, that play by Rowand in the 7th gives him my Defensive MVP. Saved 2 runs with one dive. Now that's a web gem. We better have somethin in the web gems list on ESPN tonight. But he made an error in the 9th that cost us a run.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!!! I think I just lost a little bit of confidence in Hermanson, though. He gave up a bloop single. It was an unearned run. He is going to blow a couple before the year is over.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 10:13 PM) If Marte is on...he's still the best lefty in our pen. He's been off lately while Cotts has been on. If Marte can turn it around, he's still the most valuable lefty. He gets his control back, and still nobody can hit him. Is he available?

QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 10:06 PM) Becasue cotts is on fire! I agree but there are back to back lefties in a few spots (Klesko and Giles) and Cotts could have been good there but I was wrong on Timo and will hopefully be wrong again.
