Hypothetically, Frank does win the comeback player of the year award, wouldn't that label him comeback player of this generation? That would be his third comeback player of the year award if I'm not mistaken. To me, that says you can never count him out.

Stupid ass statistics like that that do NOT back why teams will not get to the World Series absolutely piss me off to no end. I believe Sportscenter said that the Reds would win the World Series because a s***load of stats were the same as the Angels were last year....we all know how that worked out. I thought the Cards were gonna win it last year as an emotional win....they lost in the NLCS. So much for that.

My opinion on this(unless someone has already said this, in which it would be someone else's opinion that I am just backing) is that Gardenhire has few other options. Reed is a s***ty pitcher, Mays is a s***ty pitcher, Milton is not ready, and Balfour pulled of a Cotts the other day against Anaheim. About the only other option you have, aside from letting some rookie/AAAAer start is to have Rincon start, and if you do that, you eliminate one of your better arms FOR THE SERIES. To put it plainly, this is not move Gardenhire could prevent. Is it risky? Hell yes. But if it fails, it is not Gardenhire's fault....it's Mays's fault that he f***ing sucks...it's Reed's fault he has sucked this year....it is a bad break that Milton was out for so long....etc, etc, etc. We just (hopefully) got lucky this time around.

In no particular order, I'd have to say Frank, Shannon Stewart, Nomar, Bret Boone, and as a sleeper pick(he won't get it), Angel Berroa. You could also put Delgado and a Yankee or two on that list too....but if you ask me, in all honesty, I give it to Shannon Stewart. He has almost single-handedly turned the Twins around, or has atleast sparked them. He is the Robby Alomar of the White Sox, only he has been much more productive in setting and clearing the table. I don't care if they dont make the playoffs....he is my MVP(with Frank being the runner up).

The way I understood the poll, Killa was not saying "Should Juggernaut be banned", but he was rather saying "Should he be banned from making polls about the UD." I'll say no comment....because I really don't care. I just dont look at them.

Colon is criticized more then Buehrle because Colon was supposed to be the savior, the ace, the one guy who comes in here and dominates, and he's making $8.5 mill. The fact that Mark's getting paid $450,000 and has similar numbers to Colon is why Buehrle is not criticized and Colon is Wanna know why Colon wasn't criticized after tonight? Look at his line, and tell me why you have any reason to.

You know what's scary? The last time both Chicago teams were in first place this late in the year, Chicago won the World Series.

And I believe that, up to this year, Randy Johnson had won something like 4 consecutive triple crowns....it's close to that atleast.

What the hell is everyone talking about? Marte is our closer. He is just used in the 7th and 8th innings. It's called closer by committee, and when it is used well, it is a thing of beauty. When the toughest stretch of hitters comes up late in the game, Damaso comes in. If those hitters come up in the 9th, Damaso will be creditited with a save. Thing is, it seems they usually come up in the 7th or 8th. IMO, Damaso is the closer. And we are using him properly.

Best day this year....Sox win, Bills win, Pats lose, Dolphins lose, Packers lose, and the Vikings win. How much sweeter could it get?

s***. Not what I wanted to hear. I just gotta hope he comes out a little off and we take advantage of it. I just hope he hit him early and often. We do that, and I like our chances. Wright having his A stuff wouldn't hurt too.

I wouldn't say that. Biggest fluke win this season. How often does a guy getting crashed into with the game ending tag in his hand end the game after dropping the ball? Very rarely.
