  1. And the Dixie Chicks once were embarrassed to be Americans. That seems almost quaint right now. Where are ballots being counted without Republican observers allowed in the room?
  2. Stop the count! Oops, we’re actually behind in Arizona and Nevada. Election over.
  3. Russia as a foreign entity “helping” Trump through bots and social media and Facebook and THEN election/voting fraud in terms of the actual process on Election Day are two entirely distinctive issues...
  4. Poll watching and poll interference are clearly two distinct matters...soon there will be heavily armed protestors going to disrupt counting centers and threaten/intimidate the safety of workers.
  5. Apparently the Kennedys in 1960 were much more capable than the Trumps in 2020...especially since Jared didn’t think to recruit a Jim Baker-like figure from Bush/Gore 2000 until late in the night Tuesday or early Wednesday morning.
  6. Just like China sent out Covid-19 but forgot to protect their own people...or had a secret vaccine to save their own citizens after 4,500 died here in Wuhan. Did they ever track down all of the 300,000 ballots from roughly 10-12 urban areas that the US Postal Service refused to recognize?
  7. As President Trump’s lead over Joe Biden continued to fall Thursday, Fox News host Mark Levin suggested that if Trump ends up losing in key battleground states, Republican-led legislatures there should overturn the will of the voters and chose a slate of electors that would keep him in the White House. The president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., quickly retweeted Levin, as did Republican national spokeswoman Elizabeth Harrington, both of whom have been quick to claim that Democrats are trying to “steal” the election by actually counting all of the votes. Levin’s all caps entreaty to Republican state lawmakers seemed to typify a growing frustration among Trump’s most ardent supporters, including the president himself, who also hit the caps lock key earlier in the day to demand state officials do something that would not have won him the election. His son meanwhile called out the “total lack of action from virtually all of the ‘2024 hopefuls’” in defending the president. Then Trump Jr. made an even more brazen suggestion, calling for “total war over this election.” yahoonews.com
  8. Fitting how tightly WI and PA are...compared to 2016. That was 77-78,000 over three states. MI is the only one with any significant margin at all. If Trump didn’t loathe traveling to the West Coast so much (wanted to be back in the WH comfortably each time he traveled out for rallies) instead of dealing with late night/red eye flights, he could have picked off one or both of AZ and NV. If we did know that Biden won early Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, we wouldn’t all be forced to recognize or realize how truly ugly the Trump administration and media supporters could get. Not happy with Supreme Court, Senate and actually winning back some House seats, they would even seemingly prefer a Civil War to a peaceful transition of power. If Esper resigns, I guess he will start doing wilder things like firing Fauci and Barr...trying to find an acting Attorney General to go over Clinton, Obama or the Biden family.
  9. See Roosevelt/Bull Moose fiasco of a century ago. Would definitely be more entertaining, like Clinton/Bush/Perot in 1992.
  10. Speaking of golfing, such a crazy time for Masters...
  11. Let’s not forget North Carolina shifting, possibly. Though Trump prematurely declared victory in the state early Wednesday, this race is too early to call, with thousands of mail ballots and potentially thousands of provisional ballots still left to count. If Cunningham somehow eked out a victory over Tillis, those two January runoff campaigns in a clearly divided Georgia are going to be nuts. Trump, out of boredom assuming he loses, will spend every day holding rallies across the state. That would also be unprecedented behavior for/from a lame duck president. He probably would give Loeffler and Perdue about one minute each to speak, like he did with McSally in AZ. “Nobody really wants to hear her, right?”
  12. Jan Jorgensen has been campaigning across the country since the summer and said many supporters have come from across party lines – mainly, "recovering Democrats" who want troops called home from overseas missions and Republicans upset that Trump failed to cut the national budget deficit as he promised during his 2016 campaign, she said. The major parties' close race this election should be a wake-up call, Jorgensen added. "If I can get Republicans to start acting like Republicans and cutting the deficit. And if I can get the Democrats to go back to being the party of peace, bringing our troops home, and giving the average individual their rights? Then yes, I would be very pleased." About 70% of Jorgensen's campaign volunteers were registered Democrats or Republicans, she said. "In the personal conversations I had (on the campaign trail) a lot of people would say, 'Yeah, in 2016 I voted for Trump. I was so excited and then he didn't follow through on his promises,'" she said. Jorgensen performed the best in rural, Western states. She secured 2.7% of the vote in Alaska and North Dakota and 2.6% of the vote in South Dakota, according to the AP. https://www.yahoo.com/news/libertarian-candidate-jo-jorgensen-pulls-161532757.html
  13. This is why the GOP runs circles around the Dems, especially the Supreme Court now. Republicans never compromise. All of these years of moving rightward/compromising/attempting to work across the aisle has split the Democratic Party almost in two, and lost a good number of union and blue collar/non-college educated voters due to Clinton/Obama neoliberalism/globalist policies. Imagine getting 61-62% of union votes a huge victory under Truman, JFK or LBJ. Heck, even Jimmy Carter in 1976 and 1980. It’s also ironic that it (the party’s current strategy) has actually led to a phenomenon of more male Blacks and male Hispanics voting for “macho/masochistic” Trump. Being a Dem means being labeled a wimp/whiner/loser.
  14. So what should Obama’s reaction have been in that situation...every single position he took on racial relations as a Black man was essentially going to be a “no win” one. Support the police in any significant way=Uncle Tom/sellout. Support Black Crime victims=Second Coming of Antichrist/Malcolm X/H Rap Brown/SDS/Stokely Carmichael/The Weathermen.
  15. It’s supposed to expand before all is said and done (see CA), but the popular vote margin remains almost exactly the same as four years ago, roughly 3.5 million votes.
  16. Except Obama divided the nation just because his race directly threatened roughly 25% of the US. What policies did he enact that would justify rioting? Because he wanted to provide health care insurance to Americans? Take away everyone’s religion and confiscate everyone’s guns as well? Benghazi, lol?
  17. These are all things to be afraid of, the Atwater/Rove Playbook 101 ever since Ronald Reagan, welfare moms with Cadillacs/cell phones, and Willie Horton.. But what is a single Trump policy/plan proposed for his second term that you are actually for? Because being afraid of everything (“American Carnage” inauguration speech) is not a feasible philosophy for governing...it is one for deliberately dividing the country and alienating various groups of Americans, turning them against each other.
  18. Fulton County basically done, and looks like Perdue race will also go to a runoff in Jan from ajc.com Of that, he (Fulton County elections supervisor) said, results of 138,000 have been posted online and 1,200 more absentees that required more signature verification will come later today — meaning there’s a difference of roughly 7,000 between what’s been processed and what’s been posted. There are still 3,600 provisional ballots and an undetermined amount of military overseas ballots left to be finalized. The deadline for those is 5 p.m. Friday. UPDATE 7:27 a.m.: Fulton County elections chief Rick Barron said officials will release more vote totals around 11 a.m. Thursday.
  19. OAN is already there. Doubt he financially wants to undertake investing any of his own money. Prefers the branding angle with Trump name, where financial downside of actually owning it is limited. Bannon has forecast that direction for at least four plus years now (going back to October, 2016, when the grabbing women by the Billy Bush/Borat Subsequent Moviefilm comments came out.)
  20. Arizona: Joe Biden holds about a 69,000 vote lead in CNN’s count. Maricopa, the biggest county in Arizona, has released the second of two sets of new votes promised Wednesday night – shrinking the Biden lead there by just over 10,000 votes. Early this morning, the county tweeted that 275,000 remain and that its next update will come at 9 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, the next biggest share of votes come from blue-leaning Pima County. The state’s website said 46,000 votes remained to be counted in Pima as of last night. Georgia: Fulton County, in the Atlanta area, just added 8,300 ballots to its tally, further cutting into Trump’s lead in the state. Georgia’s largest county still has about 7,564 ballots left to count, Fulton County's Regina Walker said just after 5 a.m. ET. But remember: Georgia could be the next target for President Trump to request a recount. CNN reported a source familiar with the matter says that if Georgia is close, “of course” the Trump camp will ask for a recount if he loses. 10:30 a.m. ET: Georgia's Secretary of State will hold a news conference. There's currently a 33,000-vote margin between Trump and Biden, and there’s around 90,000 votes remaining to be counted. Nevada: Biden holds a slim 8,000 vote lead. Clark County — home to Las Vegas — has, by far, the largest share of votes in Nevada. After a full day of silence from Clark county and the state overall, all eyes will be on Clark when it updates at 12 noon ET. Pennsylvania: The state as a whole has about 750,000 mail-in ballots to be counted, according to the Secretary of State’s website, though this figure has not been updated recently. Allegheny County, which includes Pittsburgh, has finished tabulating mail-in and absentee ballots. Officials say the county will resume tabulating several precincts’ worth of in-person votes later this morning. www.cnn.com
  21. About 78,000 absentee ballots remained to be counted in Georgia Wednesday night as Joe Biden pulled within about 32,000 votes of President Donald Trump. Most of these uncounted absentee ballots are concentrated in highly populated areas, led by Fulton County in Atlanta and Chatham County in Savannah. There are likely additional absentee ballots left to be tallied that were returned to county election offices before Tuesday’s 7 p.m. deadline but hadn’t yet been processed. The large number of remaining absentee ballots could delay final election results into Thursday or later. But many county election offices said they’re planning to complete their vote-counting Wednesday. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said he wants counties to finish counting absentee ballots quickly so that close races can be decided. State law gives county election officials until Nov. 13 to certify final election results. “Officials in numerous counties are continuing to count ballots, with strong security protocols in place to protect the integrity of our election,” Raffensperger said. “It’s important to act quickly, but it’s more important to get it right.” https://www.ajc.com/politics/about-200000-absentee-ballots-still-need-to-be-counted-in-georgia/BYGJAXV5FRBGBAMA6JPIC7ZL34/
  22. Arizona back in play again and GA lead for Trump down to around 18,500 at 98% reporting. Fulton County alone still with 10,000+ not yet counted. AZ lead for Biden about 70,000 at this point.
  23. Pennsylvania will take the longest of the three to complete its count. As of Wednesday night, Trump still clung to a shrinking lead of some 190,000 ballots. But with nearly a million ballots still outstanding—the lion’s share of them coming from dark blue precincts in Philadelphia and elsewhere—Trump’s lead is expected to shrivel over the coming 24 hours and then disappear completely. How much Biden ultimately might win by is unclear. But it may not be by much more than Trump’s victorious margin four years ago of 44,292 votes. https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/11/04/three-reasons-biden-flipped-the-midwest-434114
  24. Pro-Trump protesters gathered at the Arizona Capitol and Maricopa County elections center to demand election workers keep counting votes. Former Vice President Joe Biden maintained a lead in Arizona over President Donald Trump, but his margin shrunk in a new batch of results posted Wednesday evening. Arizona voters who are worried their vote wasn't counted because the state's election site showed their mail ballot as "canceled," in most cases, should not be alarmed. The Arizona Attorney General's Office is investigating voter concerns about voting with Sharpie markers. Election officials say ballots will be counted regardless of what kind of pen voters used. Summary of tonight from the Arizona Republic https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/11/04/arizona-election-live-updates-2020-presidential-election/6093637002/
  25. https://www.politico.com/2020-election/results/president/ Politico has already given AZ to Biden, for another example of the different takes on that site...compared to other news organizations holding back on a call. 264-214 Trump would have to sweep Nevada, PA, NC and GA, as we've been saying for almost 24 hours now. "When Will We Finally Get Results In Unprojected States?" Podcast https://fivethirtyeight.com/videos/when-will-we-finally-get-results-in-unprojected-states/ Steve Coats Fox decision desk is still standing by their decision to call Arizona for Biden. "while additional votes are being counted, we do not believe that this will change the tenor or the texture of the race, and we strongly believe that our call will stand, and that’s why we’re not pulling back the call.”
