Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Does that get anything near a Top 80-120 MiLB list? Maybe... Hopefully better than Fletcher/DeLoach/Colas. He certainly has the stuff out of the pen, but the head's pretty close to Bummer in terms of dealing with adversity.

Like Borchard for Matt Thornton. Kelenic to ATL.

Haven't even the Japanese started to learn their lessons with how they abuse pitchers in that annual tournament in Osaka? Sasaki is definitely being protected more.

Or....now the Royals are much better without him Getz Watson etc. Coincidence?

And not exactly cheap due to his time with StL and SF.

You can cross Kopech off the A list, but now is as good a time as any to send him off on one of those change of scenery trades.

Trade Pham before everyone realizes he's a DH. Probably too late for that.

West Coast White Sox: The Seattle Mariners and their 2024 season.
Reminiscent of Acuna in that regard...obviously ATL has a much deeper lineup.

Dock Ellis...well, we already have a Duke Ellis.

Luis Robert right hip flexor injury
Then they would get ripped for not giving enough minor league rehab time...like Liam Hendriks last year.

They keep accusing Clevinger of racism but look at the article...it's spelled Cleavinger. Totally different player. It keeps going back and forth mentioning both. AI got tricked.

5/23-O's at Sox, 6:40pm
Mason Miller of the A's will be target #1, but even he can be touched up at 103. Gave up 5 runs (3 earned) just yesterday, miraculously the A's scored 5 in the bottom of the 10th to win.

Definitely the worst call to end a game...in a situation where the outcome was in doubt. Vaughn BARELY nudged him (he said Henderson was behind him, so there's almost no way he could have seen him without almost completely turning around...it BARELY affected the fielder's route and he had plenty of time to make the play.) Maybe right by the letter of the law, but certainly not the spirit or intention.

Somehow Fletcher's out OPSing Benintendi .510 to .487. Yikes.

5/23-O's at Sox, 6:40pm
Of course I'm not actually able to watch....following on MLB Gameday, the only logical thing from the original description was the Vaughn got picked off 2nd because he forgot the out count and was running to 3rd. Never in a million years would one think what actually happened was a realistic possibility.

Still not as bad as basketball refereeing at all levels...

Leave it to the White Sox to find the most creative ways to lose games at home.

What the hell was Vaughn thinking? 2 outs, I presume... He pretty much has to be benched or sent down.

The number of pitchers who have signed really late in ST or into the season and had decent seasons...seems to be about a 1/4 or 1/5 chance it goes well. Seems to be even tougher for hitters these days to ever get their timing and swing down with so many max velo pitchers out there.

Well, at least we don't have to waste a bunch of time speculating on whether Clevinger will bring any type of trade return this June/July.
