The Jarred Kelenic Appreciation Thread
I know it has been a little while since anyone has done it, but can we stop with the Julio Rodriguez slander by comparing him to the failure Jarred Kelenic? First 12 games: .136/.208/.159, -0.1 fWAR Since: .339/.397/.484, 1.0 fWAR (tied for 8th among position players)

Jose Rodriguez with 2 doubles today. Hopefully he's turning it around after a rough first few games to start the year.

Cueto to Sox (Official)
He will fill in nicely for Billy Hamilton as a cool veteran that's easy to root for. Hopefully he has a smattering of memorable moments while filling in, but isn't ever seriously relied upon.

It's useful to me since now when a league is mentioned in a prospect podcast I will actually know which one they are talking about.

- Suzuki to Cubs/5 years
Suzuki is 4 years younger than Fukudome was when he signed.- Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
And a better year than anyone not named Bryce Harper or Juan Soto against righties.- Sox sign 2B Josh Harrison (1 yr, 5.5M; club option; 1.5M buyout)
...in 36 games. I hated the Eaton signing but I don't mind this. Even if he does fall off a cliff someone among Leury, Mendick, and Romy should be able to provide competent play. This gives them another option for $7 mil. As long as this and Kelly aren't the final two moves it's fine in my opinion.- Sox sign 2B Josh Harrison (1 yr, 5.5M; club option; 1.5M buyout)
- The MLB lockout is lifted!
This makes sense to me with more teams making the playoffs. It's less about finding who is the best team in a division and more about finding the 12 best teams. A more spread out schedule will allow those teams to rise to the top more fairly. - Suzuki to Cubs/5 years
