I'll feel a lot better about losing once Quintana, Robertson, Melky, Frazier and Abreu are gone. I don't want any of these guys to diminish their trade value or get hurt.

I don't know... I think losing like that can be bad on a young player's psyche. Plus none of this tanking stuff will work like we want it to if JR won't let Rick Hahn make the trades to get young talent for the proven veterans. That is my concern.

I think the Sox will be a lot better than many of you think. While I don't think they'll sniff the playoffs, I think they'll be in the middle of the pack. I think we're underestimating the difference Renteria will make. He'll be a big improvement over Robin Ventura.
