  1. Yes. Romero was sent home from spring training and put on time-out. He still hasn't rejoined the Nats.
  2. Eloy another double. Yawn.
  3. Indeed. It was something he was working on over the off-season. I recall reading about it during the hitters mini-camp.
  4. I know someone was hot on Jeremiah Jackson. He goes to the Royals at 34 here.
  5. Another huge jump is Noah Naylor at 12. I was hoping he might be around for the Sox second pick. Also worth noting that Alek Thomas goes 29th in this mock. Jordyn Adams at 18.
  6. Oops. Didn't know this was paywall. Here's the top let's say 8? 1.) Mize 2.) Bart 3.) Bohm 4.) India 5.) Singer 6.) Madrigal 7.) Liberatore 8.) Kelenic
  7. India. I quoted it in my post.
  8. Grayson Rodriguez at 10 is a pretty big jump. Madrigal dropping to 6 would be some great value for the Mets.
  9. New BA mock. https://www.baseballamerica.com/rankings/mlb-mock-draft/ That India bandwagon.
  10. Just listened. Mayo did the first mock, and he will be doing one this week. Callis started musing that the White Sox might entertain Madrigal with the thought that he might be able to play SS. Callis isn't high on Bohm at all. Likes India more than Bohm, and even Eierman more than Bohm. Think's he's a 1B. Says you don't draft for need, but there could be a lot of redundancy with Bohm, possibly Burger, and possibly Collins having to play 1B. India was brought up. Callis likes him, but notes that lack of any carrying tool, the lack of a track record, and says he would want something more out of the 4th pick than India. Jim is still very high on Singer. Think's he's easily the second best college P in this class. Notes that he's been strong his entire career in a tough conference, with this year being his best. Thinks the arm slot concern is overblown, brings up some low slot parallels in Sale/Bumgarner. Thinks the worst possible scenario for the White Sox is if it goes 1.) Mize 2.) Singer 3.) Madrigal. Muses that there's a drop off after that. Suggests Bart or Swaggerty at 4 if the previous 1 2 3 order happens. Doesn't see a high school pitcher, and seems tepid on a high school bat.
  11. Any main takeaways that you could share? I hate sifting through podcasts.
  12. Wonder if we see Booker promoted to AA after the Mason Robbins promotion. Would then free up a spot for Luis Gonzalez in W-S.
  13. Yea. I believe Klaw mentioned that he looked really good. Unsure if he has a write-up. Not an insider.
  14. Luis Gonzalez still out. Wonder if he's injured.
  15. Still rooting for one more top 5 pick here. This year was never going to be competitive.
  16. Rutherford homer numero uno.
  17. Collins 1 hit 3 BB's 1K. I'll take that.
  18. Dave 3:08 Keith, starting see a lot of connections between the A's and Swaggerty, including your mock draft. Is this more a case of the A's liking Swaggerty in particular, or the A's liking a college bat and Swaggerty seems the most likey to fall to #9? Keith Law 3:08 Good college bat who was previously projected to go much higher. There's a value play in that. Dave 3:08 Keith, do you think Joey Bart can be a middle of the order bat in the majors? Keith Law 3:09 Yes, but in the 4-5-6 sense, not a 2 hitter. High power, low average guy.
  19. Law on Adolfo today. Ted 3:03 I know it's early but Micker Adolfo off to a great start. He isn't typically discussed as a top WS prospect but is he making a leap? Keith Law 3:04 I've talked him up in their org reports for at least two years - enormous physical tools, but could barely play the sport when he signed. (That's not an exaggeration.) He might not be a solid big leaguer till he's 25 but the upside is really huge.
