GT 6/10: MIA @ SOX, 1:10 pm CT, NBCSC, MLBN
I can almost forgive Kelly giving a leadoff, seeing eye single. I can almost forgive Kelly giving a single to the all-world Arraez. I cannot forgive Kelly for walking Soler when he had him 1 and 2. WTF is he doing looking at the base runner at second while in the middle of his delivery home. He did it on Balls 2 and 3. If he strikes out Solero, the game is still winable.

2023: MLB news not AL Central-related
What's he gotta do? 4 out of 5 yrs with twins > than .300 average, batting title last year, .399 YTD this year. We're talking Rod Carewish.

9 players in need of a change of scenery, many in Sox areas of need
Astros would probably trade their catcher prospect if we take Abreu off their hands.

2023: MLB news not AL Central-related
I know that Twins got an 18-year-old prospect who might be the real deal plus a pretty good starter in Lopez, but you just don't trade a hitter like Arraez in his prime.

Why did Twins trade him?

Is there a falcon living/ nesting at GRF?
Probably decent sized, but primary method of killing is to fly super-fast and collide with the other bird in mid air, killing it. Then he eats it. All of it -- feathers, feet, head, bones, all of it.

Roger Craig
He passed away recently. He had a long, successful career, but what I remember vividly about him was that in 1959, he started Game 1 of the World Series between Dodgers and Sox. We won, something like 11 to 0. He was removed early., obviously. Turns out the Sox gave the LA wives tickets in the right field upper deck in old Comiskey, and when Roger struggled, the fans up there really let her have it. She had to leave, crying as she went. I never understood how fans can be that cruel. RIP Roger.

Sometimes they bring in falcons just to get rid of other birds. For a fee, of course.

Is there a falcon living/ nesting at GRF?
Correct. I learned a bit about falconry by reading the C.J. Box books. Interesting stuff.

Thread from 2015: White Sox sign Carson Fulmer
I'd like to know who the coaches were that screwed him up.

I didn't see any evidence of anyone saying anything to Tim about the non-hustle show.

Falcons are unusual because they are smart enough to be trained.
