What makes you think Getz doesn't want him around and playing. Korey Lee made the 26-man cause Stassi got hurt and Pedro — amazingly — has had the wherewithal to give him playing time, just not enough to fully relegate Maldonado to backup. He also does dumb s%*# like put them both in the lineup, like last night. But if Stassi hasn't gotten hurt, Lee would have remained catcher #3 on Getz's depth chart.
