  1. I was told that we would be treated to a better brand of baseball and only lose games 2-0 instead of 6-0. Well, color me surprised!
  2. Anyway, I may have to get a #0 Mendick jersey. Easily the best number.
  3. Not what I said, but thanks for playing. Tourists would go see a game at a more accessible stadium that has a better fan experience which is what they're pitching.
  4. You're talking like...stadium buster acts. The Taylor Swift and Beyonce Tours alone. But this dude on the bears reddit already did the math, so I'm gonna go with him: Outside of those events, an area around the Bears stadium is going to be dead if it's in Arlington Heights. No one is going to be a tourist in Arlington Heights. And if it's in Chicago, a football stadium takes up the entire plot. Also lmao @ no one knows the Sox outside of Chicago. That's such a ridiculous notion that it barely worths refuting, other than the fact that it's the #3 best selling hat in baseball behind the Yankees and Dodgers. Yes, that mostly has to do with its connection to hip-hop fashion, but they have an actual brand.
  5. Obviously Wicks felt intimidated by Maldonado's blazing speed and power.
  6. I'd like to reiterate that I would not be shocked if Hackenberg is the best catcher in camp.
  7. I'm here for the scenario where Chris Getz has to present his vision for the team at a state budget hearing.
  8. This is my favorite stupid video from Ricky's time, because the vibes were good.
  9. I had the paper bag because Hawk looked like he was in pain!
  10. ...you can gamble on Spring Training games? That just seems silly.

Man helped push Minnie into the Hall and said his job was done.
  12. I think the best solution is that the Bears draft Marvin Harrison as a QB, move Fields to RB and draft one of the LTs as a WR. But here's what Biggs said: So...I guess it's more Caleb vs. Maye vs. Daniels. I just honestly feel sad for Fields after hearing snippets from the St. Brown podcast. Yeah, it's a business, but he's handled it all with grace.
  13. Miami always gets their guy,

The fact that Pedro can't even make a proper backcronym makes me hate him even more.
  15. The fluff pieces have begun! Thus, Diamond Club's doors are open cc @chitownsportsfan
  16. Winter doesn't legally end until March 19th, 2024 at 10:06 P.M. CT. But also, go wild
  17. Tray's answer: Andrew Vaughn, trains, soil
  18. A football stadium takes up a lot more room than a baseball stadium. So, that would hamper the plans for developing the rest of the parcel / kills the "create a neighborhood" pitch
  19. Honestly, I feel like being Waldorf and Statler.
  20. Grifol's Graveyard
  21. I think anyone posting here regularly has more than earned their stripes as a Sox fan. Most, if not all, of us were around for the rebuild. We've seen them be s%*#. The Sox aren't the A's, but the way they've abused this fanbase's trust is so egregious that if anyone wants to mentally check out until it's shown that Chris Getz can prove that he's more than a nepo hire, Pedro can manage a .500 ball club, TLR gets out of the way, and Jerry wants to actually invest — well, to find any fault in that would be asinine at best and disingenuous at worst.
