Teams that get bounced in the play-in get put in the lotto, so hypothetically they could be the 7th seed and be in the lotto.

A 17 assist quadruple double. They came close against the Rockets. They've gotta feel good going into a play-in, which, goodbye lotto, but good experience for Matas/Giddey/Coby if it comes to pass.

Absolutely bonkers performance. Dude is getting the bag.

Thorpe to get TJS per Merkin 3/22
I know TJS is more common, but the Sox HAVE to be abnormally high this spring, right? Like, it's not even the flamethrowers.

Dan Bernstein FIRED!
After briefly peeking the headline I was trying to figure out how a spat over a fish was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Bulls are the weirdest fucking team in the NBA. Absolutely failed at tanking and should have sold Vuc at the deadline cause he doesn't match their the run-and-gun style at all (when Smith/Collins are on the floor), but at least they're fun to watch right now. Saw this move and was absolutely bewildered at Huerter's revenge game.- Thorpe to get TJS per Merkin 3/22
I was told it was the best they could get because no one would splurge for one of the most durable pitchers in baseball that would finish 4th in Cy Young voting. Sammy Zavala better learn to hit over the Mendoza line or this trade is catastrophic.- Opening Day 26-Man Roster
I know it's a wild year because I used to be able to ID everyone in spring training and I don't recognize anyone but Ellard in this post.- 2025 Bold Predictions
Re: Sale, I don't think it's a coincidence that the Red Sox put him out there with no restraints and he suddenly blew out. It got them a World Series and I'm sure Sale thought he could handle it, but they may have been able to win more.- 2025 Bold Predictions
If we're going as far as including Dave Wells, then you should give the Sox their flowers for having an insane run of health from 2001-2016.- DVS retiring...
Man, my newsroom just went through it's third round of layoffs (fortunately, my department was spared) in a little over a year. That's with a union fighting every step of the way Back when I got laid off (the first time) in 2018, it was jokingly seen as a right of passage in the industry. Happened again in 2020 (extreme circumstances, to be fair). You made the right decision.- 3/14 - Reds @ Sox 3:05 CDT - spring training, whitesox.com streaming
At the game. After Tauchman's challenge a Padres fan that's here yelled "it's ok blue, you'll get the next one."- 24-25 NFL Thread

The highest running back they've taken since Forte was Montgomery in the third round in 2019. If they pass on Jeanty, what are the odds that Hampton, Judkins or Johnson drop to their second rounders? I'm guessing low on Hampton, maybe on Judkins, likely on Johnson.- 24-25 NFL Thread
@bmags how do we feel about Membou- Slater oblique strain
I've very bluntly stated I don't like Fletcher as a player multiple times. Not a fan of DeLoach either. I've liked Colas. But also, I stated it a few posts down, so, I did name the names that you wanted named. They're all ages 27, 26 and 26 respectively. Not spring chickens in baseball years, but younger than Slater, under team control and they are at the point of their careers where they need MLB at-bats. They've all played in the majors for extended periods at this point and had their fill of AAA. They're the same age range of Stone Garrett and James Outman a few years ago when you were pounding the table for the Sox to acquire either of them, so I'm not sure why you want them blocked by Austin Slater, Mike Tauchman and company.- 24-25 NFL Thread
