GT: White Sox (40-44) vs. Scrubs (46-39) [3:05CT / 4:05ET]
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jul 11, 2015 -> 04:19 PM) I am sure if Toronto offered Buehle for Sale you would do that in a heartbeat. But the Dodgers have Walker Buehler

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 11, 2015 -> 03:23 PM) OMG Rose makes more than 26 mill a year? What a waste. That shocks me he makes that kind of money. Another guy not worth the $$$. Rose's adidas contract is the big chunk of it.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 11, 2015 -> 03:19 PM) Just say he's the richest sports figure in Chicago. Big first inning for Sale. It's obvious Lester has nothing today. His ball isn't popping at all. Hopefully Sale is Sale again today! That'd be Derrick Rose.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jul 11, 2015 -> 03:14 PM) "Jon Lester is the best pitcher in Chicago!" Can't wait to stop hearing that. He's like what, fifth?

Hell, I missed Saladino's first awesome MLB hit. Abreu is such an intelligent player.

The Cubs strike out nearly 25% of the time, good for second highest rate in the majors. Cubs, meet Chris Sale.

First time coming to a game
ChiSox Bar and Grill, the sports bar attached to the stadium, has great food. Not badly priced either.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE (raBBit @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 10:19 PM) It's upsetting to me that instead of being happy and excited that the Sox won, I am more relieved that I don't have to hear the Cubs fans. Maybe I am weak and should know better but I am not the s*** talking type and the Cubs fans I deal with tend to be. I am going to the game Sunday as well so I wanted to be in good shape going in just so I don't have to deal with meatheads. Obviously I am biased, but does anyone else feel like your regular Cubs fan is an especially uneducated fan? I am sure it has a lot to do with them losing 90+ games three out of the last four years and not winning a playoff game since Bush's first term but I find myself just nodding at their weak attempts to make banter. Yes, the Cubs have more fans at their Cubs and yes, if the season ended today the Cubs would be in the playoffs. I am just not phased. They just seem out of the loop. Some guy was giving me s*** at the golf course and I tried to change the subject and said, "Is Rondon not the Cubs closer anymore?" and he said "Rondon is on the Sox." So I am not like, "No, not Rodon, Hector RONDON, the Cubs closer," and he says, "No it's Motte, the Cardinals guy, we don't have a Rodon." It's one guy, but still. So bad. Please Chris Sale, be the best Chris Sale you can be so I can relax when we lose 2-1 or 1-0 on Sunday for Quintana vs. Arrieta. Cubs have the second highest strikeout percentage in the majors. Sale gonna have some fun.

Today was the Anti-Sox Game
Defense was spectacular today and it confused me.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 06:15 PM) Ok, the Sale line got me. Sale will now go strike out 21 batters at Wrigley to break Wood's record at Wood's old stomping grounds.

White Sox call up Tyler Saladino
I think Bonifacio or Conor will be gone before Gordon if Saladino is able to stick. Gordon is at least providing stellar defense, it just comes down to Saladino starting or being a utility player like Bonifacio was supposed to be. That means backing up the entire infield with the ability to go to the OF in a pinch.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 05:49 PM) That was fun! Like I said in the gamethread: These guys are having fun but we need to start scoring more, not sure how much longer we can continue to win scoring 3 or less Hitless Wonders 2.0?
