  1. Wow. I figured Toman was going to school. That's a great get there for Toronto.
  2. Prielipp and Toman both going to be there for the taking?
  3. I'd be happy with that. Toman is my preferred guy.
  4. Lynn's fastball is down in velocity and movement according to Savant. Little worrisome since he is 35, but hopefully its because he had no ST. He just isn't dependable at all right now.
  5. Great win. Pull off a W tomorrow and they might be flipping me to a believer they can still pull this off. Need Lynn to show up in a big way tomorrow.
  6. It's embarrassing how bad Charlotte's pitching has been. I'll never understand why the Sox are incapable of bringing in some AAAA arms to give a little depth.
  7. He does owe Ricky an apology. I’d hate to be compared to that bumbling drunk prick too.
  8. With how arrogant Tony is, I can’t see him stepping down. He’s the type of person that will blame everything else before taking responsibility himself.
  9. He totally has to be responsible for some of this mess. Someone is giving these players reports on the pitchers and their tendencies. Someone is giving these hitters a game plan. If it isn’t the hitting coach who else could it be? These guys aren’t all magically coming up with the same strategy game after game after game. These player bought into some bad philosophy that the only thing that matters is putting the ball in play. Menechino is literally on record with his “fuck the home run” comment.
  10. Not too late though to make a statement and fire Mennichino. Who cares if won’t change anything. Start holding people accountable.
  11. Yep. Short ST, abnormal injury to start the season, Covid, and he oddly bulked up way too much coming out of the offseason. To say he’s magically washed is laughable. He’s had a really odd year. You wanna say someone is washed, look at Lynn and that knee of his. That at least could be an argument.
  12. He has zero approach. Idk what happened with him whether it be Menechino or his own stubbornness, but he needs to seriously work on pitch recognition.
  13. Getting rid of TLR can only help this team. Whether or not he’s responsible for all, most, or some of the issues, he’s a moron that has had the game pass him by. From not knowing the rules last year, to his constant questionable lineups and in-game decisions there is zero advantage to having him in that clubhouse.
  14. Yep. People look for anything nowadays to get offended. It sucks for Burr but it’s the harsh reality of the business of the game. We rag on the Sox for being inept in a lot of areas, but they would be even more inept to carry a guy whose hurt and who they no longer view as being a contributor on the roster only to DFA him after the season.
  15. Frank thought on the Post Game that he is hurt/hurting. Said he doesn't seem right between body language, his swings, and facial expressions.
  16. I'd be pretty shocked if this team makes any significant move. They truly are some special kind of stupid if they start trading pieces for a lost season.
  17. One bad inning in a situation he never should have even been put in.
  18. I was hoping he’d hit his first today.
  19. Is Chapelli's bat looked at as a possible power threat? Great to see him destroying in the DOSL, but I thought he was considered more of a contact over power guy.
  20. I really like that list. Only change I would have is Veras above or below Sosa.
  21. Not only that, I don’t think they have what it takes to get a big splash.
  22. That’s not what burned his bridge to Chicago. He has a lot of issues that will hold him back. As much as I enjoyed his Yerminator performance to start 2021, I’m glad he’s someone else’s problem.
  23. He hasn’t been the same since he had Covid. Throw in the injury earlier in the season, and his massive bulk up in the offseason, I think there’s a lot of factors that have forced him to compensate.
