  1. Yep. People look for anything nowadays to get offended. It sucks for Burr but it’s the harsh reality of the business of the game. We rag on the Sox for being inept in a lot of areas, but they would be even more inept to carry a guy whose hurt and who they no longer view as being a contributor on the roster only to DFA him after the season.
  2. Frank thought on the Post Game that he is hurt/hurting. Said he doesn't seem right between body language, his swings, and facial expressions.
  3. I'd be pretty shocked if this team makes any significant move. They truly are some special kind of stupid if they start trading pieces for a lost season.
  4. One bad inning in a situation he never should have even been put in.
  5. I was hoping he’d hit his first today.
  6. Is Chapelli's bat looked at as a possible power threat? Great to see him destroying in the DOSL, but I thought he was considered more of a contact over power guy.
  7. I really like that list. Only change I would have is Veras above or below Sosa.
  8. Not only that, I don’t think they have what it takes to get a big splash.
  9. That’s not what burned his bridge to Chicago. He has a lot of issues that will hold him back. As much as I enjoyed his Yerminator performance to start 2021, I’m glad he’s someone else’s problem.
  10. He hasn’t been the same since he had Covid. Throw in the injury earlier in the season, and his massive bulk up in the offseason, I think there’s a lot of factors that have forced him to compensate.
  11. Dan Winkler has appeared on the Knights roster. He's had some success in the majors.
  12. He was literally fired twice on the cusp of competitive postseason windows. That has to be extremely infuriating. If he's comfortable with what he's made throughout his career, I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't want to put himself through that again.
  13. Was he guaranteed to return tonight?
  14. Wow. Him figuring it out would be a huge boost to the farm.
  15. This injury is depressing as fuck.
  16. My fear as well. What a dumpster fire this season has turned into.
  17. Which is why everyone should be placing heavy bets on the Twins before the odds shift.
  18. That would be even worse or more of the same. We all know Tony has a finger on the moves this organization makes and a direct line to Jerry’s ear. To give him a more clear role in those decisions would not make this team better, it would make it worse.
  19. I believe so. Any team can claim him right now so it makes more sense not to insert him and have to pull him.
  20. Totally agree. That shit screws you up for a bit.
  21. Much needed win from this team. Really hope the offense is starting to turn the corner. Seems like they've been playing much better over the past week or so.
  22. Long overdue. Glad Hahn still has some type of authority to dictate a move or two.
  23. Martin is on the Sox, I don’t recall him being sent down.
  24. After this season, it's going to be REALLY interesting when stuff starts to leak. Especially if TLR is out the door.
