  1. Butler moving to the A-10 certainly makes it more likely that he will stay.
  2. I would have Axelrod start at AAA and Stewart in long-relief with the Sox.
  3. I'd hardly call South Florida good basketball.
  4. 7.6 earthquake hit 115 miles from Acapulco about 35 minutes ago.
  5. OK, then I guess the graduate admissions office is too lazy to walk down the hall and get the info from the undergraduate admissions office. I'm not really all that surprised. I had to provide transcripts when I applied for my last promotion at my job, even though (1) I provided transcripts when I started working there and (2) the education requirements for my promotion were exactly the same as for the position I was already occupying.
  6. None of the five starters pitched 200 innings last year and only two of the five have ever done it, so I'd be shocked if the Sox carried only 6 relievers.
  7. You said credits are listed on your transcript from B, but what about the grades? Are those listed?
  8. For lefty bats, you already have Dunn who can play 1B and Fukudome who can play LF. Now, if Johnson can actually handle 3B, I can buy him getting some spot starts over Morel and pinch-hitting for him vs RHP late in games.
  9. Butler is in a Final Four for the third consecutive year.
  10. Lillibridge can play IF, but the more important question is where is Johnson going to play? I don't see Konerko/Dunn having enough days off to justify giving Johnson a roster spot, and there aren't that many PH opportunities in the AL.
  11. I hope he gets a better deal than this: http://www.theonion.com/articles/disabled-...8-million,5338/
  12. The NFC North plays the AFC South and NFC West this year, so 3rd place could very well be 11-5.
  13. Stats section on whitesox.com has DanksI as batting 1-1 with 2 RBI. Did he actually get a hit in a game or was that an at-bat of DanksII that was mis-attributed?
  14. Big home court advantage for Louisville in the regional, being only 1700 miles away from Phoenix. The other schools are all more than 1750 miles away.
  15. Yes, ten of the Sweet Sixteen have a total of 16 Indiana players on their rosters. Seven of the 16 players average double figures in scoring.
  16. I understand that, but it's a remarkable occurrence that 62.5% of the teams remaining are in such a compact geographic area, and Indiana happens to be at the center of that area.
  17. Ten of the Sweet Sixteen schools are within 200 miles of Indiana. Seven of them are within 100 miles. Four are within 30 miles.
  18. I'm not even checking the standings. If I'm not in last place, then somebody must really, really suck at this.
  19. Right, but part of that 0-fer was picking Texas to beat Cinci and the other part was picking UConn to beat ISU.
  20. Haven't seen any down here yet, but then only about 30% of this TV market is in Indiana.
