  1. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ May 12, 2016 -> 05:57 AM) If there is no clear definitive #1 player, couldn't that mean it's a stronger class? Yes but it isn't. Stronger class is when you're deciding between the likes of Bryant,Gray and Appel for #1. Ray/Groome/Puk aren't at that level

  3. If we're successful this season, you don't let him walk for someone like May to replace him. May ends up being a bench bat or stays in the minors. You keep Ajax. He'll get a contract similar to this year.
  4. 2 ER in the first and then cruise mode from there. That's a cy young pitcher
  5. QUOTE (gosoxgo2005 @ May 6, 2016 -> 06:39 AM) Rodon, though he could be a very good pitcher one day (key word: could) will NEVER be a 75-80 pitcher. I say that with 100% definitiveness, and yes, I know it's opinion, and it's impossible to actually be definitive in this scenario.... a 75-80 pitcher is a Sale/Arrieta/Kershaw. If you think Rodon will get to that level you're drinking way too much White Sox koolaide If Rodon will never be near a 75 pitcher, Nola will never be near even a 70.
  6. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 4, 2016 -> 06:10 PM) Trayce is a 4th outfielder. Not really gonna sweat that This. Frazier >>>>>>>>>> Thompson every day of the week.
  7. I don't think its really even close. I'd say Nola and Rodon are at similar levels right now, with Rodon having a way higher ceiling.
  8. No one should care about the attendance right now, just keep wining.
  9. Fulmer struck out the side in the first. COME ON BABY WE NEED YOU!
  10. Man, guy went from being my favorite player back in the good days to someone I can't stand to watch. Definitely sad, but he needs to go.
  11. QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 09:11 PM) What does everyone make of Zangari's start? Hit his 5th homer tonight, but has 41 K in 96 PA. Should we be happy that an 18-year old has a .216 ISO in A ball or worried that he's striking out like crazy? That site is pretty cool. I wish it was a little cleaner looking. I think as long as Zangari has a respectable year it is a win. He is way young for the level hes at
  12. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 02:14 AM) Their Cy Predictor is garbage. Yes. But lets just enjoy the fact that this exists, who cares if its garbage and doesnt mean anything. Our pitchers are doing fantastic.
  13. I really hope whatever happens to Snow happens quickly. I don't want half the season to be, "WHEN IS IT GOING TO HAPPEN?!?!?!" That said, great episode.
  14. whattttttt?!?!?! is this finally the end of Danks?
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 08:02 PM) Another awful showing for the prospects tonight. Adams gives up far too many hits to be a big prospect. Baseball is a long long season.
  16. Blackhawks, rain projected, weekday. Not all that surprised. Keep winning and they'll draw plenty in the summer.
  17. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 15, 2015 -> 07:57 PM) They should be doing what Atlanta is doing to be honest. No, they shouldn't.
  18. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 08:25 PM) Fulmer sucked again...and with that and the sox awful start tonight my optimism is gone Step in the right direction. Wouldn't call it a horrible start at all.
  19. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 11:34 AM) Henry interests me as a second round option, but Alabama running backs' NFL results have made me gun shy about wanting the Bears to draft one of them. Yeldon had a fantastic year. They just never gave him the ball near the goal line
  20. The dash are gonna have big problem scoring runs this year.
  21. Are we still talking about how eaton and rollins hate eachother?
