Give it up for Reggie Miller
QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 20, 2005 -> 01:30 PM) Indeed. He perfected the stick the leg out jumper to draw the foul. So cheap. Do you have anything nice to say about him? You know the saying, if you don't have something nice to say, just don't say anything.

Give it up for Reggie Miller
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 03:43 PM) Reggie earned my total respect when he dropped 8 points in the Knicks in as many seconds to win a game. That is the greatest example of pwn3age! I have ever seen. That was the greatest thing I've ever seen on a Basketball Court in my life, and it could still very well be 60 years from now. That was just truly amazing.

Busty with another classic quote...
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 20, 2005 -> 01:14 PM) I'm willing to bet that Dusty believes in voo-doo and faith healing as well. And now he remembers to take the pins out of the Wood, Prior and Hawkins Voodoo Dolls. "Oops"

Music Suggestions
I got around to listening to the new Weezer Album. So far from the few songs I've listened to, great album, The Other Way is a great song. I'm goin to be nodding my head to this for a while yet.

Eric Chavez to the Whitesox?????
QUOTE(sircaffey @ May 20, 2005 -> 01:21 PM) I thought I remembered that Beane wasn't interested in BMac when KW explored a trade for Hudson over the offseason... JR/KW have said all along that there is room for KW to make a trade. Adding Chavez would only effect this season's payroll by about $4 million. Completely feasible. Chavez is a stud. Get him out of Oak and the god aweful offense that surrounds him and in the Cell, wow. It could be something special. But this is quite the stretch, but something I would love Kenny to look at. Beane could have very well changed his mind on B-Mac (even though he's not pitching that great in AAA right now), with the performance of Drew Meyer so far this season.

Trump rips WTC2 design, pushes own idea
QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ May 20, 2005 -> 12:44 AM) His plan is better--but he's such an attention whore I hate admitting that.... It's a comb - over.

Eric Chavez to the Whitesox?????
Eric Chavez is the heart and soul of the Oakland Franchise. He is the face of the Oakland Franchise. If they are going to deal anyone, it's Scott Hatteberg. No way is Chavez going to be moved. He is a notorious slow starter as well, so don't worry he'll definitely pick it up.

Around The Majors
QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 19, 2005 -> 11:01 AM) Abreu is on f***ing fire, just hit a 3 run dong. 9th homer in last 10 games, that's amazing. Phillies losing 8-3 though and Philly fans suck. They just keep booing and booing, the ESPN announcers are ripping them. Ed Wade is a goner. Charlie Manuel is already in serious trouble even though he's been on the job for what a month and a half. That franchise is in serious trouble. No way they'd trade Abreu though, he's their best player, without a shadow of a doubt, and they have to build around him. Making stupid moves like Endy Chavez for Marlon Byrd won't help either.

Star Wars
QUOTE(T R U @ May 19, 2005 -> 10:18 AM) I dunno, I have a feeling Annikan becomes Darth Vader and tries to build a "Death Star" in which his son comes back UNKNOWING its his father and foils his plan... just a hunch Really. I thought Anakin got a sex change and turned into that Leia chick.

Red means...
Macnhester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all wear red. Quite an easy conclusion to make from that.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 17, 2005 -> 03:15 PM) Yeah, and when Cotts sucks again by putting the first batter he faces on base via a walk, hit, or HBP, I bet you won't be saying a word. Word.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
Buerhle's stats at home last season compared to this season; 2005 - 5-0, 2.18 ERA (I'm assuming that will be lower, ESPN I don't think has updated yet) 2004 - 9-7, 5.02 ERA

Clifford....
6 innings at home pitched now and he still hasn't given up an ER. Very glad the Sox re-did his contract as well, so we have an option year on him.

Welcome Jermaine
qwerty had been saying Dye had been hitting the ball hard in his last few games, he just wasn't finding the gaps. Now let's hope he can get a little streak going. Dye and Konerko getting going, gives this offense a whole new dimension.

Will their be a roster move????
QUOTE(elrockinMT @ May 19, 2005 -> 10:16 AM) If they send anyone down it would probably be Walker and not Cotts. Walker has not been used other than maybe a couple innings since he was called up and he was brought up solely for the last series' we played. They won't be sending Cotts down after he pitched a scoreless inning of relief (at home as well), even though the majority round here won't like that.

Brian Anderson
QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 19, 2005 -> 09:11 AM) when was it that Borchard did that in triple A?????? 2002 season. .272/.349/.498. 20 HR's in 117 games. Not exactly the high average, but good numbers nonetheless. On Anderson, I'll just repost my previous post on him;

Brian Anderson
QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 19, 2005 -> 12:35 AM) Except for the above .300 average, good arm, and great outfield instincts. Other than that, yeah you are right........ Weren't people saying that about Borchard?

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 18, 2005 -> 11:57 PM) Excellent post. That's what bothers me. I don't understand how people can have a difficult time enjoying this. MS: "Homer, it's easy to criticise you know" HS: "Fun too!!!"

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 19, 2005 -> 12:20 AM) And as long as Seattle is even close, they won't be trading Everyday Eddie. Which leaves Billy Wagner. :uhoh
