  1. Still, they have Jesus Made, Pena, Payne, Pratt, Henderson. You can make the argument that they’re the most loaded organization in the league
  2. I don’t think that’s scary, especially when the team should have a very high draft pick next year, based on odds. I think there’s guys in the draft next year, who could be that guy for them. Roch Cholowsky, Justin LeBron, Grady Emerson, and Jacob Lombard specifically. I think Cholowsky is the best of the group and he could be like Bregman and be up in 2027 out the gate. I should add that I was specifically talking about position players with my comment The Brewers have Jackson Chourio, Christian Yelich and Jackson Misiorowski. They’re loaded with stars
  3. With all the players who have graduated from the prospect list (and those who are about to), this is about where I expected them to be ranked. I would say that the farm system looks to be the healthiest it’s been in a while, I think they had a good draft, and with a high pick next year, they could be back in that top 10-12 range this time next year. What is troubling though is the lack of international prospects that the Sox signed on that list. Looking at the MLB pipeline list, I count 3 INTL players that the Sox originally signed. While the farm is the healthiest it’s been in a while, it could still be a lot better. The sad thing is that it’s going to be a couple more years till we see the results of their international dept overhaul.
  4. Not surprising. Im of the opinion that the next franchise player/star player for the Sox isn’t in the system yet.
  5. Didn’t Colson fall out of theirs as well? And look at him now
  6. The first time I went to Europe, I was waiting for a friend to meet me at CDG in Paris. As I was waiting a plane from Italy let out its passengers and an Italian family came off the plane and they were all wearing White Sox gear. I spoke to them, and the kids played baseball and liked Tim Anderson and Moncada, so they were wearing the jerseys. And there’s a Bulls/Sox store in Paris as well. All that to say that the current Sox branding is iconic and global, it’s an advantage the team has over the Cubs. So no, don’t change the uniforms or the logo
  7. I like the aggression with their top prospects, it’s an aggression that makes sense, they’re not rushing guys but pushing them.
  8. I’m shocked that people are actually monitoring the win/loss record for a rebuilding team, it’s irrelevant. The Sox winning their way out of the top 3 of the draft would be catastrophic.
  9. I want them to sign 2 legit high leverage relievers, one them being a proven closer like a Devin Williams, Jordan Romano, or a Ryan Helsey. Id also like to see them add more power so Ryan O’Hearn with his Fuller connection would be a fit, Hopskins and Naylor would be too.
  10. I’m shocked that Korey Lee, Mike Tauchman, and some of the relievers are still on the roster. The most important thing for the Sox is getting the best odds at the top pick, they’re not competing this year or next (even if they add). I also wish they targeted more complex level/low minors type players to add to the next wave of prospects
  11. I’m shocked they haven’t made a move yet
  12. What was the catch probability on that? It looked pretty catchable but he made a bad read.
  13. It’s always the lower priced guys that do the best
  14. Updated Post Draft List Noah Scultz Braden Montgomery Hagen Smith Billy Carlson Caleb Bonemer Tanner McDougal Jaden Fauske Christian Oppor Jeral Perez George Wolkow Luis Reyes Jacob Gonzalez Sam Antonacci Kyle Lodise William Bergola Mathias Lacombe Blake Larson Landon Hodge Gabe Davis Yobal Rodriguez I took a rough go at it.
  15. I love the approach. Keep injecting the system with as many up the middle bats, who can control the zone, as possible.
  16. Smart, very smart of the Sox to immediately move Fauske off C and to the OF
  17. Watch LaViolette become a star in Cleveland
  18. I have to see this Ike Irish video
  19. We’ve gotten so much smarter since then. Not to mention guys weren’t max effort and not everyone was throwing 95
  20. I want to see Vargas with a full off season with these changes under his belt. I’m not too worried about him right now, the league figuring him out was due to happen, now he has to learn how to adjust back.
  21. They should throw Shane Smith on the IL for dead arm after the ASB. He’s never pitched this much, and certainly not this far into a season. He needs to give his body a break. Then they should do the Crochet thing where he goes 4IP at a time
  22. They hired a hitting director
  23. This list will look a lot better after the draft and TDL but we should be thinking like this imo, what will this look like at the 2026 TDL, that’s exciting.
  24. I’ll say this, l think they make that pick now because they have Ryan Fuller in the org. I totally get wanting to kick things off with a for sure big leaguer, which Smith is, plus he’s a demographic they’ve had a lot of success with.
  25. I can understand a GM making the first pick of his regime, I don’t like it but I get it.
