Heyman called it a great fit but didn't outright say the Sox were in on Cruz.Scenario 2 is about the only way locking up Cruz for 2 years makes sense to me. And even then I'd hope its a 2nd year team option.If they were going to splurge on a DH there were names earlier in the winter I liked way more than Cruz. I really hope this is a leverage play again.1/$8M seems pretty ideal for Q. Very curious what else Hahn has up his sleeve to fill out the rotation.
