1st start in a long time back off of TJ. You might have a point if this was mid-season and you’re looking for Dunning to take the next step...we’re still on step 1 with a young pitcher. No need for a test right away
-
Short sighted for the good of the team and short sighted for Dunning’s well being really. He didn’t need to be laboring through a strenuous inning his 1st start back in well over a year.
-
Steve Stone is saying it a full inning ago and it was plain to see...Dunning was tired and shouldn’t have even gone out for that inning. Bad coaching. No idea how they didn’t see it
-
Pen needs to be up now. Kid is running out of gas quick
-
Very good pitch placement from Dunning that inning. Even the double was in a pretty good spot
-
Ya if we are going to be dumping any bad FA signings from this off-season I’d be much more willing to dump Cisheck. I don’t see him being able to suddenly miss bats with his slow junk, EE at least has a shot to get hot and hit some HR’s.
-
He was brought up when Anderson was DFA’d But I see my error...Luery was actually put on the DL on the 11th and TA was activated. I was counting Luery going to the 45 DL as a separate move when it didn’t have any affect on the active roster. Flores was indeed brought up and sent down as the 29th man. As he just pointed out, thanks
-
Right, but going by the transaction page on the White Sox website it doesn’t appear we ever had 29? Luery and Hamilton went on the DL on the 15th...Cuthbert and Flores are the only additions after that and Flores got sent back down yesterday. I very easily could be missing something though.
-
Could be wrong, but didn’t we have an open roster spot? Looking at the transaction page- both Luery and Hamilton went on the DL and Flores and Cuthbert were brought up...but we got an extra spot because of the double header so once Flores was sent back down there was an open spot. Maybe?
-
Not a White Sox season unless an under talented bench player has a small amount of success and fans then hype said player up to be more than he is. Wouldn’t shock me if Mendick is playing with Saladino, Delmonico and Palka in a couple of years.

Of course running late and don’t get to the TV and miss 4 runs...am I obligated to not turn the game on now? -
If I were manager I’d fine guys for sliding head 1st into first base. It’s just dumb and ultimately selfish if you get hurt.

Mendick, Engel, Luery, McCann... aside from maybe Moncada these have been the bright spots for this lineup and their all backups/platoon players
-
This team is really hard to watch... can’t imagine what the ratings look like by the 7th inning. Gotta be like 80 of us still tuned in and not sleeping on the couch
-
The talent is there and I refuse to believe that every one of them has the fundamental flaw of straight up terrible batter IQ...These young hitters can’t be left with this coaching for too much longer
-
Omar Vizquel or Sandy Alomar both make a lot of sense. I’m sure Jerry would love to hire a former member of the organization and they are least 2 knowledgeable baseball minds that have had careers that demand respect. Plus the Spanish speaking part is undeniably important. Dark horse- Jim Thome

Need to take Cisheck out to pasture. He’s completely toast. -

Really? I think he might be our best option there. Obviously hurts his run producing abilities, but he’s all but guaranteed to get on base at a high rate and has pretty good wheels. Id like to see Jose and Robert switched honestly. Ricky is going to have to come to terms that Jose isn’t a top 4 option in this lineup anymore, at least Vs RH. He’s killing us with risp -

Obviously not a good throw but that looked like a pretty easy 1 hop for Jose. Both Bummer and Jose have to to make that play -

People will cite Jose’s RBI #’s but in reality he’s left a TON on base
