Am I missing something with the Dodgers system? Let's remove Seager, Pederson, and Urias because I don't believe they will be involved in any deals. That leaves...De Leon, Holmes, Belinger, Verugo, Barnes, Toles, and a bunch of 17 and 18 year olds. Nice prospects, but no headliner there for me. And even if 1 of those 3 were involved it would almost 100% be Pederson....and ehh, not sure he's the prize he once was. Joc, De Leon, Bellinger, Verdugo, and Barnes for Q or Sale? Definitely wouldn't be my favorite package.

I would take Gallo, Profar, Brinson and at least 1 of Dillon Tate, or Matuella for Q....I'm sure most wouldn't but I'm not sure how many other teams are making better offers. Boston and Houston are probably the only 2 teams that could in my opinion.

I don't love the Rangers system...Gallo is flawed. Huge power but I'm afraid he's a .230 hitter in the MLB. Profar is nice, but as others have said, the lack of years of control makes him less appealing. Houston and Boston should be the targets to try and strike a major deal with in my opinion.

Setup man and #4 starter are the least of my worries for the 2017 Sox to be honest with you. If I were GM I would be in full blown tank mode from now until the end of '18 simply trying to acquire as many assets as possible. Of course most fans don't want to hear that, but in my opinion it's the best way to make this team a championship contender again. Sick of watching this front office trying to patch a crumbling foundation only to watch it fall down again.

If Shields can string together another 2 good starts I think there's a real possibility we could flip him for more than we gave up. Am I the only that would gauge interest on Nate Jones too? I know he's young and controlled, but I can't be the only 1 that sees his elbow going again before too long. I wouldn't just trade him for the sake of getting rid of him, but with the # of contenders looking for backend bullpen help he might be able to net us a pretty good prospect.

Frazier, Melky, and Robertson all need to go at the deadline. Those 3 clearly won't be here when/if the team is in contention. In the off season is when "they" (hopefully "they" are new) have to sit down and honestly think about moving 1, or more, of Abreu, Sale, or Q. There just flat out isn't enough talent in the organization and the sooner they can admit that the better off the team will be.

This honestly might be one of the most difficult teams to watch I've ever seen. The inability to string together any kind of offense together what so ever is beyond pathetic. Aside from Eaton, Melky, and Abreu none of these guys bring a professional hitters approach to the plate. It's all just a bunch of guys who go up there hacking at anything remotely close. The amount of K's being tallied against this team by mediocre pitching should be embarrassing enough to get people fired and traded. But honestly, are these problems just what this organization is at this point? Because it doesn't seem like anything matters at this point, there just seems to be a sheer lack of ability to either scout talent or coach and develop it....or (probably) both. This whole thing just needs to be utterly blown to pieces starting from KW all the way down to the minor league coaches and everyone in between. It would probably be a long rebuild, but it would be better than the black hole of below average this team has been for going on 5 straight years now.

No interest in trading Fulmer and I don't think we have enough to get Lucroy without him. Of course I'd love him but we just have nothing to trade for any top flight guys sadly.

Astros have a huge log jam of hitters now after signing Gurriel and they still have Bregman loudly banging on the door in the minors. Gattis is going to turn into a part time DH, has been sent down once already, and hasn't broken out of a slump all year. I'm not exactly sure what we have that they would want, but I could definitely see them wanting to move him to free up a bench spot for a better defensive player. He could be a good buy low candidate as our DH/occasional LF/occasional backup C who can bring a lot of pop. He'd probably hit a ton of bombs in Chicago in the hot summer months heading into the playoffs. Terrible idea or worth a shot?

Navarro is pretty brutal behind the plate. Gives the pitcher no help at all

We really need another late inning reliever badly. What little we have is going to break down by August because we rely on them so heavily. Poor bullpen depth + a bad offense is a bad mixture.

Love Groome's potential but don't think we are taking him if he falls because he's going to want a ridiculous amount of $ to sign. Anyone outside of those 10 and I will be really disappointed. Please no easy to sign college pitcher with the ceiling of a #3 most of all though.
