  1. Like the store you go to to buy games on PC. I think that is what poster is referring to.
  2. Disney is a no-brainer at $93. Just bought some shares. Thought about waiting it out to see if it gets lower and if it does, I might just buy a few more anyway.
  3. Or they just don't make up the games not played the first couple weeks and when they start playing again, continue as is. Would be very difficult making all the games up. I think that would be likely scenario.
  4. Start on time with no fans. Would rather see that than canceling the first few series/weeks of the season.
  5. I do agree that it would get lonely. I have a cousin and friend who do it every day and I feel each goes stir crazy. Doing it twice a week would be great. Could make those my errand days when it is slower in the office. Or I can plan personal stuff better at least.
  6. We received the email at around 4:30 yesterday stating that someone had it and if we wanted to work from home the rest of the week, we can as long as we meet our deadlines and get work done. At around 9pm, we received an email stating the office is closed until next Monday, taking the option away from us. But they also threw in a sentence stating it might extend into next week. I'm curious to see as well. I'll keep you and others posted.
  7. A-fucking-men. "Seeee how much I was able to get done not having to commute 2 and a half hours of my day?"
  8. There's no reason that anyone who has a job where you can work from home shouldn't be working from home (granted, that's my take coronavirus or no coronavirus so maybe a bit biased lol). My company is saying the office is closed until Monday with the possibility of staying closed longer. Considering we have a someone confirmed in the office, I could see it going another week.
  9. Starting to believe the 26th man will be Mercedes. Late inning pinch hitter for Garcia or Mazara against a lefty (or righty in Leury's case if you're looking for a bomb), few games at DH if Edwin is aching and not on the IL and needs to sit, already on the 40-man. Obviously may not last long if the plan is for Madrigal to up come a few weeks into the season anyway.
  10. The building that I work in is all over the news now apparently.
  11. I'm also supposed to go on a cruise soon that may no longer be happening. Not for fair of the virus but more the not wanting to possibly be quarantined on a ship for additional days/weeks.
  12. Well someone who sits near me has it. Everyone is working from home the rest of the week and probably next.
  13. He would be but you have to consider everyone else. Off the top of my head, you have the second or third starter on 3 days rest the second time through the order.
  14. I was thinking they could open with 4 man rotation, Gio in pen for however long until we need a 5th starter (to have 8 relievers) and then open with 5 man bench temporarily. But looking into it, they actually do need the 5th starter to open the year.
  15. He starts slow every year.
  16. Extension or not, I don't think they would release Abreu (would be here anyway accepting QO). If anything, Edwin would currently be blocking him if he tears it up in the minors. Team might be in a spot to promote Vaughn and release a 37-year old EE mid-summer the way signing aging DHs has worked.
  17. Assumung Abreu and Edwin are having normal years, why are you benching either one a lot?
  18. I'm for this. Unless they feel Collins is fine getting those at bats? I think I would rather see him play every day in Charlotte though and go with Yermin or Seby or go with 3 catchers and have both on the roster. As for trade speculation, McCann to Astros for trashcan to be named later.
  19. I feel like the Sox run into the most bizarre off stories (on and off the field) more than any team haha nothing negative against the team but definitely strange ones.
