You asked me if I had seen that commitment from Lynn. I answered that since his time with the White Sox, I’ve seen him perform at a very high level…so my answer to that question is Yes, I have seen a commitment to excellence because that’s what he’s been during his time with the White Sox, which is all I can ask for as a fan. Now you, the great man of discipline, can’t go 5 posts without making fun of someone’s physical appearance. You’re a real gem.

During his time with the White Sox, I've seen Lance Lynn perform at a very high level. What have you been watching? See, some people can do two things at once. Lance Lynn can weigh more than say, Lucas Giolito, and still be an effective pitcher. You could have served our country and still have the personality of an asshole. It's the same thing!

Your constant fat-shaming of Lance Lynn would be funnier if he wasn't a multiple-time all-star who's made over 65 million dollars in his career.....while your fat ass sits in front of a computer and posts on a White Sox message board.

You act like because the Sox lack starting depth, Keuchel is going pitch every 3 days. You're not a very smart guy (as your post history has indicated to us all) but let's do some REAL simple math. If Keuchle makes 30 starts in 2022, and averages 5 innings....that gives us...drumroll please.....150 innings pitched! Now, as we know, he needs to hit 160 to have his option vest. So far this season, Keuchel has made 3 starts, and has gone 4 IP, 1 IP, and 5 IP. He's also sporting a 9 ERA at the moment. Now, if Keuchel is as bad as you think he's going to be (and why should we assume you think anything more than him being the anti-christ based on your disdain for almost everything related to the White Sox) how the fuck do you envision him getting to 160 IP, even with the lack of starting depth. Again....he's not taking the ball every 3rd day. We're also assuming he's going to stay healthy the entire season which....doesn't seem like great odds given the rest of the Sox injury history. Lastly, without looking it up, 20 million for a pitcher may be the highest salary in White Sox history for a pitcher. You really believe if the Sox have a choice in the matter (which they 1000% do,) they're going to pay that to Keuchel in 2023? You're out of your fucking mind.

Dude, COME ON. You really believe the White Sox will allow Dallas Keuchel to make 20 million in 23 because they'll let him throw 160 IP this season? I will bet you anything you want that won't come close to happening.
  7. Could not agree mroe. I legit hate this guy for no other reason than this thread hahah
  8. Jokes aside, really awesome to see Vaughn develop before our eyes like this. He's being put in a very bad position on the diamond but it's clearly not impacting him at the plate.
  9. I didn’t ask anything. I didn’t quote you, and I didn’t put a question mark in it. I said “Still rather have Keller” meaning I’d still rather have Mitch Keller (??) than Andrew Vaughn. Now obviously I don’t believe that, I was being incredibly sarcastic based on how stupid of a take it was, both then, and now. But it won’t stop being funny for quite a while.
  10. I have no doubts he looks like Jose come July, but that’s not helping the Sox now. Vaughn should be getting some time at 1B
  11. All I'm saying is I'm putting the blame on the FO, not Vaughn. It's simply not fair to him. You're asking him to play a brand new position at literally the highest level there is. Do I think he'll get better? For sure. But in the meantime, I don't know how anyone can expect anything other than a disaster, because playing major league baseball is VERY fucking hard. This falls on the FO.
  12. Again, he's playing a position he shouldn't be. He's literally playing spots for the first time (maybe ever?) He didn't register a single start in the OF in college or the minors. I don't know what people expect here?
  13. You know Tim Anderson plays for the Sox, right? You just not watch those innings, or what?
  14. Tim has had his head in his ass most of this season, so that checks out.
  15. Correct. The same way Grandal or Cease aren't OF's. He shouldn't be out there.
  16. I've been told none of this matters because he's only doing it in April, those games aren't really important to the Sox, they have the division locked up. ?
  17. Not many would disagree with that. But again, that's not what you said. You've been VERY vocal in your support of the Sox. That's fine. You do you. I can disagree and we can go back and forth, but that's what makes the world go round. What I take issue with is the idea that if people complain or upset with the Sox, they should just stop watching and do something else. 1. People can do anything they want and 2. More importantly, that's not what being a "fan" is. Your team should be there for you. Yes, when the Sox aren't playing well, there are long stretches during the season where I only might watch an inning or two and then move onto something else. It doesn't mean I'm not going to be upset when I look at my phone and see they lost 6-0 and have lost 8 straight. I can still log onto Soxtalk and discuss it. The picture you've painted is "Enjoy the White Sox when they are good, but when they aren't, you shouldn't watch or be invested! Only come back when they are good!" If all Sox fans took that advice they'd have fans for like, 12 weeks out of the year. Additionally, living in a major market, I expect more out of my teams. This isn't Pittsburgh. We don't live in Kansas City. Sorry, but when the off-season is 6 months, and the season started about 20 days ago, I take issue with a "fan" already telling us to turn them off if they frustrate you. Fuck that. Get better. Do better. Play better. How about we all raise the collective expectation level around here, instead of taking your attitude of "Welp, if ya don't like the White Sox, just don't watch, mmmm'kay?"
  18. That's not what you or I said, but you know that already.
